Hi ladies
Has any of you tried Lloyds pharmacy pregnancy tests? If so did they give false positives at all?
I just bought a pack of 2 and got a faint positive but after checking their website for reviews a lot of people say they give bad false negatives. I don't know what to think 😕

Haven't tried Lloyd's ones, but a false positive pregnancy test isn't likely. If it detects the hormone I. e. it is positive, you are pregnant. False negatives occur because the level of hormone is undetectable.

Thank you. I just can't believe it 😱 I'll maybe wait until tomorrow morning to test again

I used Lloyds (and several other brands just to check...) and got a true positive. Congratulations :)

I also saw lots of reviews about people getting false positives but I wonder if they're just so sensitive that people were detecting pregnancies prior to a chemical.

I've had positive tests on those tests but negatives on others. I actually think I had a chemical pregnancy rather than a false positive as I did go on to get my period a couple of days late.

Blue dye tests apparently have more tendency to produce a false positive.

Can you post a pic of the test?

Is that too weird...
