Hi all,

Here's hoping y'all well. It's been far too long since visiting, but feeling like I need to be around people in the same position or similar as myself.

My partner and I are hoping to conceive, problem is September 28 we suffered a chemical pregnancy. It knocked the wind out of my sails as it came with almost flu like symptoms minus the cough and sniffles. The aches and pains - oh boy it was rubbish. Now the problem is I'm struggling to work out if my cycle starts from day one of THAT bleed. If is does I'm due on any day and after a big fat negative yesterday (same day a dear friend told me they were expecting laugh/sob) I wonder if it's just too early to test or if I'm reading my cycle wrong.

Has anyone experienced a CP and if so, how long did it take to be able to track your cycle once again... normally Google has the answers and I know everyone is different so it will depend woman to woman.

Also I've heard that you can be more fertile after a MC/CP?

Any truth, or comment would be greatly appreciated.

Much love, (the complete novice) L x

Hello! I'm so sorry you've gone through this, it happened to me and it's distressing on so many levels. The good news is, I'm 40 and with my 7 month old. I decided to stop tracking my cycles, all I did was mark down on the calendar when my period started and finished and dtd every 2-3 days throughout the month. I did take a supplement ( Ubiquinol QC10 was pregnant within a month of taking that) . It took 9 months after the cp to conceive but as you say it'll be different for every woman. I wish you every luck and try not to stress, my doctor was very clear about that!

Hey thank you for your reply. I'm so sorry to hear you have been through that too. Partner and I are both taking supplements at the moment, but may look into the suggested. Anything that will help 🙄 I'm a day late according to my app, but can't trust the cycle it has down. Ever hopeful. May try some meditation Smile thank you again lovely x
