So here is this mornings... Has reassured me to see that it's darker. I'm so paranoid that il lose this one too that I feel like I'm not even as excited as I should be. Do you think I should continue doing tests for the next few weeks for my own peace of mind or do you think better for my sanity to just leave it and trust things are progressing unless I start cramping or bleeding?

Dont keep doing tests as the lines can be darker/lighter for a number of reasons and are not indicative at all of how well a pregnancy is progressing! Try and just focus on the fact that you are pregnant and take each day at a time
Congratulations Flowers

Don't keep doing tests as it won't help either way (speaking from experience). Congratulations :) X

Ok thank you- I didn't realise that the line colour wasn't indicative of how well the pregnancy was progressing. I'm so glad I know that- you've probably saved me from a number of breakdowns(!) I have one test left and I will do that a week today and just try to relax and be happy....Smile

Congrats Peach! Smile, i found out i was pregnant on 14/10 and was really shocked as I haven't had any AF since I had an early loss back in June, the hospital said the pregnancy had reabsorbed so I didn't even get mc bleeding. Thought the light bleeding i had for 2 days on 22/23 Sept was a wierd period but now looks like it was implantation bleed. So im 5-6 weeks atm. I have done 5 hpts over the last week since i found out, just to check the line strength and it's reassured me as they are good dark lines. The lines last time i was pregnant never got dark. I am planning to do 1 a week until my first scan. Some may say not wise but it comforts me. I found out at my first scan last time that baby was no more and when they did a hcg test at hospital it was then showing negative, even though i still had pregnancy symptoms. Fingers crossed for us both having sticky beans this time!

Really need someone to talk to... I have worked myself up into a state today because my boobs have felt totally normal today- not sore at all- and haven't felt pregnant at all. Is this normal?? I'm so scared that I'm no longer pregnant or somethings going wrong but too scared to take another test. I'm 14 dpo today and think I'm driving myself a bit mental with worry...

Hi Peach, I know this is easy to say, but please try to stay calm. Lots of people don't have symptoms at all, or they have symptoms that come and go. Have you had any symptoms that have worried you, or is it the lack that's worrying you? If you're really worried then for your own peace of mind you could always book an early scan (I think that internal scans can pick up things from about 6 weeks). I had an external one at 7 weeks that picked up the heartbeat.

Thankyou for your message, no I think its just the lack of symptoms that worry me. I welcome any aches or pains or sickness because it will reassure me that I actually am and all is well! I think I will try and brave out next couple of weeks and all being well book an early scan. I think hearing a heartbeat would help with my anxiety massively...

Hi Peach. I'm in the same boat as you, my only symptoms so far are big heavy, tender boobs and extreme fatigue, come 9pm i am literally falling asleep on the sofa next to DH! Oh and bloating/gas. I almost wish i was throwing my guts up, as at least id feel pregnant! Until i see baby at 12wk scan, i will have a fear things aren't right. I try to reason with myself not to be silly, but previous experiences cloud my thoughts. Saying that though i have 2 healthy DC, so know it is possible things can turn out positively. I think we should both try to chill out a bit, as hard as it is!
