Hi mira I am 5 dpo too!! Stats below

Age- 29
TTC#1
Cycle 4
CD20

How did your 1st consultation go? I have been having very long cycles since coming off the pill although seem to be getting back on track now since I've been taking Agnus Castus and I ovulated on CD14 this month so keeping everything crossed!

Hi happybus
First consultation went fine although they were running lateAngry which is not what I expect after paying £150 upfront!
Only in there 40 mins.
Need to get smear test up to date before treatment. As I have only had day 21 progesterone and OH had sperm analysis (on NHS) which were both fine, next steps are fsh and lh blood tests for me and internal ultrasound, and repeat sperm analysis for him. These basically cost £575 for both of us although this also includes infectious disease screening should we need treatment. We are going to just see what test results show as treatment is very expensive! I'm just hoping I get pg before we get to that stage!

happybus don't think I have symptoms - bit nauseous and strong sense of smell, but I can be like like whether pregnant or not!!

I'm not sure if I am panicking un necessarily but me and DH were just taking part in a bit of afternoon BD and when I had orgasm I had a really sharp pain in my lower abdomen. It really hurt!!! Only lasted about 20 seconds and it passed and now I feel fine but I'm worried if I have implanted already having a orgasm might have affected it as I've read the uterus can contract during orgasm?!? I really hope it hasn't dislodged the egg if it's implanted Sad I'm really worried. I'm 7dpo.

Hi everyone, I'm now settling in for another 2ww so will join you for some company!

Age 31
TTC #1
Cycle 1,346,574 (feels like, actually more like 19 I think but a couple of mmc in that time)
CD 19

I feel very blah at the moment! One of my best friends had her 12 week scan today and a there was a multiple baby shower at work (which I would have been included in had I have stayed pregnant, but such is life). am down to one cup of tea a day and the odd glass or two of wine but wondering if I should be cutting it out completely - anyone know if this actually works?! I feel like it would be an even bigger disappointment each month if I'd stopped all that and STILL didn't have a positive.

Happy my sis in law recommended Angus castus too, please let us know how you get on.

Hello! Same here!

Age: 35
TTC #1
Cycle: Err 16, but 2 MC in that time and a two month break after first one. Needed it!
CD: Hmm

My cycles are a bit all over place, can be long. Using Ovia and Clearblue digi but went away at weekend and forgot to take tests (blessing?!). Did one on Fri before went and low, got back on Monday and did one mid afternoon and peak! Had got some in over weekend and did on Monday but stage fright hit on Tues. Was thinking a good effort but today have had loads of EWCM so really worried missed it. Could it be that late after static smiley?!

Happy - I had exactly that when I was pregnant every time we had some fun and apparently totally normal, so fingers crossed is a v good sign.

Pickled - I've carried on as normal, too depressing otherwise and don't want it completely taking over my life!

Off to docs next month though if no luck!

Took a hpt yesterday as I thought my opks were getting slightly darker but bfn, but only 7 dpo, I know that's stupidly early! But can happen especially with twins I've read, not that there's any history of twins in the family...

After researching I know that there can be a rise in lh just before your period, (although it seems too early for pre period lh rise.)
Sometimes a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!

Got MIL this weekend Hmm and if I was pg I'd want to find out when she wasn't there!
The house isn't really clean and tidy enough and this morning the bathroom sink stopped draining! She's one of those that will make comments, she winds dh up as well, fortunately she's staying at a B and B though...

HappyBus you won't have dislodged anything, orgasms are a good thing Wink yiu can have sex the whole way through your pregnancy unless a dr or mw advises you not to. Dh and I dtd the whole way through the tww just in case I ovulated later than expected (as we don't use any ways to monitor ovulation except cm and I'm not always that good at telling the different kinds apart!), it won't 'hurt' a blastocyst if one is burrowing into the uterus

I'm 29
Ttc #2 - DD is 18 months, had an early mc in June
Cycle: 1 this time!
CD: 22, think I'm about 11dpo but not really sure

Pickled - I cut down on drinking, caffeine etc when ttc #1 and found it so depressing every month when AF came. Fourth month I thought sod it, ate and drank what I wanted and what do you know, BFP! It's important to have a little fun and relax, esp if ttc #1 because you won't get another chance for nice dinners with wine for a little while once you do conceive! If you're only three weeks into the cycle a coffee and a large glass of wine isn't going to do any damage.

When is everyone else planning to test? I don't want to get into a pattern of torturing myself with faint lines like I have done with previous pregnancies, I want to wait until it will be clear. But I don't know where I will get the patience from!

Pleased you brought up the caffeine/ wine thing. Im a 30 y/o married woman, far from a piss head but i do love a friday wine and a couple if we go out. I am generally a healthy eater & exercise regulary so im quite health conscious. However im having a do i drink at my friends wedding next week dilema. I will be 9 ish dpo. One part of me is determined to be clean and healthy but the other part of me thinks i cant put my life on hold month after month for a 20% chance im pregnant.Hmm

Miraflores, the MIL sounds like fun! Wine

I don't test until day period due if it hasn't arrived, but tbh I pretty much know every time when I'm not as I had strong symptoms both times I was. Stupid as it sounds, makes it easier as I'm less disappointed when AF arrives.

Totally agree on nice dinners etc....in fact might go and have a glass of wine shortly!

Waving to you all!

I'm 38
TTC number 2
Cycle 3 post-miscarriage in the summer
CD 26
Not really sure when I ovulated, despite using OPKs and checking BBT- maybe CD17 or 18

Only had sex once this month due to busy work schedules, but hoping it was at the "right time".

My previous 2 pregnancies happened without thinking, had just come off the pill and hadn't really had a normal period.

So now I'm starting to worry, despite knowing that 3 cycles is nothing and quite normal.

I think as well it's the effect of having a miscarriage at the end of my first trimester- just desperate to be pregnant again.

Due to my age, I felt that we couldn't just "wait and see" despite it happening so quickly twice before.

But I also worry that the effect of following my cycles, using OPKs and BBT recording will have the paradoxical effect of making the whole thing take longer...!!

Good luck to everyone!

Have to add, I'm drinking wine as usual and my normal amount of cups of teas and a few coffees thrown in.

A part of me wonders if I should just cut all of this out, but then I know I would start to resent things.

Plus my previous 2 pregnancies have always had a generous sprinkling of wine in the early weeks until I found out!

Sorry I've missed all your updates my phone had logged me out and I've only just realised!! I'm having a mare today and could use some advice! CD27, 13 DPO today and was planning on using a FRER this morning to test. Been having a few symptoms so was quietly optimistic. Got up this morning to what i thought was the start of AF, was gutted and didn't do the test as thought was all over for this month!

Fast forward to lunchtime and it's completely stopped, had slight bleeding from 6am - 8am not a massive amount but more than normal spotting. Now it's just a bit of brown when I wipe. I don't know what to think?? Normally when AF starts it starts fairly heavy straight away?? I have had a bit of brown discharge the past couple of days but this morning was definitely more than usual. Still feeling a bit off colour and not really myself. I just don't know what to think!!!
