Curved line?

Hello,

I'm new to this but seriously need help.

AF is due on Friday and is absolutely like clockwork. Never have any symptoms before it arrives.

Usually a 28 day cycle, had unprotected sex on days 13,14,15,16,17 of my cycle.

Anyway for the past few days I've been having weird symptoms, cramping on day 19 of my cycle, the wildest most lucid dreams ever, falling asleep around the clock, lotion like discharge and everything making me nauseous. I'm a smoker and haven't smoked in 3 days cos the smell/thought of it makes me queasy :(

So today is day 24 of my cycle and I decided to just bite the bullet and take a test. Took the clear blue early test. This is where my dilemma is, the control line came up fine, but the test line is blue and curved?? Never seen this before. So now I don't know if the test is faulty or if it's a positive test??

Please help me :) x

I thought it was evaporation line so I took test apart but it's still there?

I may be wrong but I'd say that looks faulty.

Sometimes pregnancy tests have an error on them because there hasnt been enough wee on them. Its very tricky to wee on a stick i find as it splashes everywhere etc and covers the pregnancy test in wee!

Its better to wee in a pot and then dip the test in for around 5 seconds. This is the best way to get an accurate result

I would say that's faulty but would be leaning towards a positive.

To be fair it's probably too early for me to even be testing anyway. But you know when something just doesn't feel right in your body??

Will try again on Friday if AF doesn't come?

With regards to AF being due on Friday, when would it be best to test?? Is it too soon? Or should I wait to see if AF comes before testing again??

Really new to all this pregnancy testing stuff?

5 days before af is very very early to test. I'd wait to as close as possible to Friday as you can, preferably Friday or Saturday. Otherwise you risk false negatives/ chemical pregnancy.

I agree that that's a different test.
