O.k so we have been trying for no 2 for 10 months. I havn't temped for all of it but I have used opk.
This month I had my positive opk confirmed on two different devices (yes i an obsessed) but 4 days later still no temp rise. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

It's not happened to me personally as I'm not TTC so I don't use OPKs but I do know that not every LH surge results in ovulation. This is why some people might occasionally have two surges in a cycle (but only ovulate the once)

Maybe I should keep on with the opk then?

Good idea! Keep up the opk to be warned you are gearing up to ovulate... Doesn't alway mean that you will (as you've discovered).

Took one today it was negative who knows what is going on. I am hopeful going to wake up to a nice rise

How consistent are you being with ur temping? I practically gave up temping after not seeing any pattern/temp shift for a few months doing it, despite positive opk's and falling pregnant! So must have ovulated!

I am TTC again and someone told me to be super consistent, and to take the temp at the same time every morning before even sitting up in bed or talking/drinking etc etc. So I have it ready by my bed and just reach over and do it as soon as I wake (DHs alarm goes off at 6am every day - sometimes we get invaded by my DS and those temps are def out of sync!). My friend actually keeps her thermometer under her pillow so it's even quicker to do!

Anyway. Since doing that I have actually had a pretty good graph this month, and a definite temp shift/ov day identified.

Keep at it, and see what happens.

Good luck xxx

I get a big rise three days after ovulation and a positive opk two days before ovulation.
