Hi all,

Have been a lurker for a while, but feel I should probably join up now! Husband and I have not been formally ttc, but earlier this month decided to just be a bit liberal with contraception & see what happens, before I start working out dates etc.

Back at the end of June, I took Norethisterone to delay my period for a holiday. Came on 3 days after stopping, normal period. Following period end of July was a bit early and a tiny bit lighter than normal, put it down to hormones messed up by Norethisterone.

This month, period was 4 days early, very light - only bled for 3 days (compared to my usual 7). This stopped by Friday just gone. Was a bit weirded out, so took a pregnancy test this morning on the off chance, which was positive. Took 3 more- also positive.

I had put the bleeding down to being an 'implantation bleed', however I have since read that this should be browny discharge, where as mine was more like fresh blood.

Could this be an early miscarriage and I still have high levels of HCG?

Am verging on very excited, but also now worrying! Advice on what to do next greatly appreciated.... x

I had implementation bleeding with both
My pregnancies and there was fresh blood on each. The second one I even thought it was my period and wore a tampon for the first day before realising I had stopped bleeding! My boobs stayed sore throughout and I did a test and was pregnant. Like you we were being a bit careless and never thought for a min I would be pregnant!

How does your body feel?
