Evap lines or squinters

Hey ladies,

So looking at a blue dye test after the ten minute window and can see a line. Thought I saw it after 5 mins then convinced myself it was nothing. So does anyone know if Evap lines have colour? I know I need to test again with fmu in a few days just trying to figure out if to get my hopes raised or not. Thanks

Yes unfortunately they can occasionally have colour, I've found that especially true with blue dye tests although I recent had a very convincing evap with a FRER followed by a complete negative the next day. Fingers crossed for your BFP though.

Thankyou I really appreciate your reply. I tested with a frer yesterday and again today and got bfp. Due to having a chemical a few months ago I'm cautious because my cycle lengths really vary! I've attached a picture of my two tests the top is the most recent does it look darker? Thanka

FWIW - those look nothing like evaporation lines and I would like to whisper congratulations to you as you have stated you are being cautious 😊

However, I have done literally hundreds of FRER and have NEVER had an evap line on any of them. The darker one looks like a great BFP to me xx

Thank you Mattmamma. The evap was on a boots blue dye one so I went and got the frer. I am so nervous but PMA! Xx

I'm watching this thread and excited for you x. FRER have always been reliable for me. I have had chemicals too so know exactly how you feel - but wishing you the best of luck. Let us know when you test again. Maybe try a clearblue digital in a couple of days just to allow HCG to build up. They are good tests too but in my and I think many others experience they aren't as sensitive as First Response xx
