Hello all,

Very long time lurker but first time poster. Have stumbled across this board whilst looking for other stuff and you all seem very friendly. Bit of background information. I am 38 with 2 DD aged 8 and 6. DP and I have been discussing back and fore for a few years whether or not to have a third but I always said practically it was impossible for a number of reasons including the fact DD2 was the world's worst sleeper! She has got lots better since starting school so we decided to go for it. However it's taking longer than we thought and to top it all DSis inlaw has let us know she is pregnant with #3 without really trying and 'just seeing what happened'. Am delighted for her but at the same time a bit frustrated it's taking longer for us!

Hi danigrace, we have only been trying since Christmas so realistically I know it is not a long time. I will pop over to the August bus. How long have you been trying?

Since October. I have PCOS though so might need a little help. The ladies 'on the bus' are all very lovely, supportive, and knowledgeable so it's a good place to be!

Hi there! My stats are pretty much the same as yours. 38years old ttc no.3. I have 2 dd's and the youngest is also six! I'm on cycle no.4 now , but I'm worried it may take a while, it took two years of ttc for dd2. I couldn't go he through that again. Good luck, I hope it doesn't take you too long.

Hi choccybiscuit. Nice to hear from you. It's nice to hear that others are in the same position as you isn't it? We took a year with our first but because our second took a couple of months I naively thought it wouldn't take as long this time. Hopefully you get good luck soon xxx
