TTC, AF x2 weeks late = x3 BFN ?!?

Hi all

(I don't know all abbreviations yet as im new, sorry).

As subject says: we're TTC and AF is now 2 weeks late (very unusual for me), I've done x3 HPT (CB early digital and cheap asda's own) over last 5 days and each time i'm getting a BFN (even with FMU).

It could be that AF is just being awkwardly late to disappoint me - just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience? and if this resulted in a definite BFN or BFP for you.

I'm frustrated as hell.

After this long I would think possibly just a missed period, sorry 😞. Are you tracking the changes to your cervical mucus?

just to quickly add to the above, over the last 2 weeks I have experienced, abdominal twinges (almost like mild period cramps), feeling mildly queasy on and off, achey and bloated and ridiculously tired to the point I am struggling to keep my eyelids open - I have noticed blue veins across side of boobs (again unusual for me) and quote emotional over little things.

These could obviously be something other than pregnancy symptoms - and AF might be building up to make her dramatic entrance. They are however unusual symptoms for me (I rarely get period cramps).

Wishful thinking perhaps ? sigh

Is there no hint of a line at all??

I would get a FRER if I were you, I think they're the most sensitive and reliable.

Are your periods usually regular?

Hi Scarydinosaurs, I feel you're right. It's just frustrating and very unusual .... and at a time im hoping it to be something else. Mother Nature can be a madam!

I usually do get white CM, over the past few days it has been clear (sorry TMI). So from what I have read this is not a good indicator for bfp.

Back to trying it is!

Hi NameChange30

My periods have always always been spot on, that's why i'm so frustrated. Without date checking I can always 'feel' when I am due on as I am quite conscious with time and time length since my AF last visited (sorry if that doesn't make sense).

No hint of a line, believe me I've looked from every angle humanly possible lol.

It's strange isn't it. I'll give it another week and see how I am feeling in myself and maybe take a trip to the Dr's. AF maybe had something better to do this month!

I think it sounds like a missed period if cm has changed as normal.
