Any ideas? Low AMH and want to conceive naturally. I have 2 children aged 12 and 3! so only 3 years ago I had my son.. have booked a series of acupuncture treatments - any positive stories?
I don't know whether I want to go down the IVF route so any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Hi

I'm 45 and on my second pregnancy this year. At our age I've isn't probably an option. Even the best clinics would give you a 1-3% chance of success with your own eggs and they would advise genetic testing if you had enough to test. This is because the rate of genetic defects increases with age. You have much more options if you are happy to use donor eggs.

If you want to try the fun way there are some things you can do to increase your chances: read It Starts with an Egg by Rebecca Fett and think about following the supplement protocol. This is supposed to help increase egg quality and reduces genetic defects. Track your ovulation with ovulation sticks. Try using pre-seed as your cervical mucus may not be what it used to be. Might also be worth using a mooncup afterwards and have an orgasm.

You might also be able to persuade a doctor to give you chlomid. Some of them will give it to help older ladies

Good luck!
