Has anyone else had cramps post Ovulation but pre period?!

Ok, this is new and I thought i had all the symptoms under the sun!

TTC for about 6 months (although i have a super long cycle at 35 days). I was 7 days late on the last period (annoying) and the Dr told me i'd just go back to 35 days again. I have no idea when I ovulated as apparently the strips hate me. So i am now roughly 8 days to go to my 'period' and have been having light cramps for about 4 days.

Also have mega sore (.)(.) although that is apparently now usual for me as a PMS symptom.

Has anyone else had anything like this? Did it turn out to be anything exciting like a BFP?

I don't want to test as it's too early on my 'proper' cycle but feels a bit like all best are off this cycle! Help! This TCC thing is rough on the heart :(

I remember complaining to my friend I had "period pain without a period" my period wasn't due and it turned out to be dd 2. I think the cramping pain was due to embryo implantation. Good luck

Yes I get implantation cramps - I think it's that as its too soon to be AF cramps.

However I have had implantation cramps and not been pg.

Good luck!

Thanks-that's really helpful. I think my AF is starting today which is gutting! All these signs are so confusing. Thanks for the help. Really hoped it would be it this month!

Hi user,

I had implantation cramps this cycle which didn't go away (same as when I was last pg). Unfortunately AF came this time but I do believe that I get these cramps when something has implanted but then fails.

Good luck!
