Dear All,
Can anyone kindly help me to interpret the above result? I asked my GP for blood tests as I was anxious about being perimenopausal due to shortened cycle and night sweats. My GP does not seem overly concerned but from what I have read online, this is slightly worrying news when we are hoping to try for a second DC! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if there is a better place to post this? I would be grateful if someone a little less clueless than I could point me in the right direction!

Hi Sally, I know ideally it should be under 9 but yours isn't much over that. There's some really knowledgable people on the infertility thread so you might have more luck over there.

Thank you, Tea - I will try there!

FSH Hormone (normally tested on day 1 of cycle):

Ideally FSH should be low as better, high levels indicate diminished ovarian reserve

Less than 6 = excellent
6-8 = normal
8-10 = fair
10-12 = lower than normal
