Did a test, said pregant 3+ (not possible only about 1 week post ov.)

Then the test went blank and had a book in it.

What does it all mean?!!?!?!

The book symbol means "refer to instructions" which is shorthand for "your test is broken"

Usually it's due to too little wee making it to the test.

If you're only 7 days post ovulation, you're not going to get a positive on any test, especially not a clear blue digital one, they aren't sensitive enough. Wait 3-4 more days and try a First Response.

ok - so I counted, it is day 9 post ovulation. But still not weeks.

I ovulated late in a 26 day cycle, so am only a couple of days before period due. Hence the testing....

Any thoughts - it showed positive before it went blank - I'm holding onto this after 18 months of trying...

The positive before the book symbol could be something or nothing, sorry Sad

The book symbol means the test hasn't worked so I wouldn't want to speculate on if the positive was real or not. You are going to need to test again but I'd wait until tomorrow and do a First Response, clear blues generally don't pick up a positive until your period is due. I got a positive with a first response on day 10.

Try another test. You can't trust that one its malfunctioned. Or see if you can wait a couple more days and test when your period is due. Good luck!

Id try a first response test (with the pink lines), they're the only ones that really detect the pregnancy hormone before you miss your period.

Save the clearblue until after you're late xx

I've tried another clearblue (all I could find). It was negative.

Oh well - I'll test later on but won't get my hopes up.

Thanks
