BFP on FRER but BFN on CB digital...help!!!!

I tested early this month at 10 DPO and got a faint line on an FRER. My period is due today and so thought i'd use up my FRER since it was 2 in a box, and also a CB digital as I have that lying around. BFP on the FRER (although not as dark as the control line, but it's a line!), but a BFN on a Clear Blue? I thought CB was supposed to be 99% accurate? and it's the day my period's due too i'm as regular as clockwork on a 30 day cycle.

Might be too early for a digital? Leave it another day and try again? Did you use the same urine for both?

no, for the FRER I tested today in the morning although it wasnt FMU. CB i just tested literally half an hour ago :(

Congratulations. The frers are more sensitive. The digital cb is less sensitive plus your urine would be less concentrated.
You're pregnant!

worried it's a sign of a chemical....the FRER line doesnt look too strong....

pl tell me i'm being silly?

wasnt this way with DC1. i just used a digital as FRERs werent available at the chemist's and it went straight to 2-3 weeks and i think i tested one day after AF was due.

I think that line is what I'd expect for 10 po.
Do another frer in a few days. I suspect it will be darker.

I think it's because your urine isn't strong enough. That looks like a really strong line for only 10dpo, test in the morning. Good luck!

sorry think i wasnt clear....the FRER in the photo was the one I took today. The FRER line at 10 DPO was much fainter.

I got a 'not pregnant' on a digi but lots of lovely lines on others. Digis are less sensitive.

Digital tests aren't as sensitive. The line on the FRER in photo is def positive!

FMU in the morning. DPO varies person to person, doesn't it? A late implantation could give FRER but no digital yet. As hard as it is, try not to worry. Flowers

i tried FMU with an FRER this morning and got a BFN! Then tried later towards the afternoon and this test had a positive line there, but not as dark as i'd expected it to be now that i'm on CD 31 and AF late by a day. In fact, all my lines have not got any darker. Quite thrown off by the BFN in the morning what was that about :(

Should I go to the GP? but what are the chances of getting a blood test done?

Unless you're using FMU at this point I would expect really light (almost impossible to see) lines.

Was the FERE definitely neg?

now that i've fished it out from the bin, it's one of those shadowy lines if that makes sense. the one that I did later has a line and it's the one in the pic that's marked 18 DPO.

and it looks like it's getting lighter almost back to 12 DPO. Is this anything to worry about? sorry for sounding all paranoid, but with DC1 I found out with a digi that went straight to 2-3 weeks this is my first time using an FRER.

Were these all done with FMU?

If they weren't, then the thickness of the line explains the lightness variation.

I would really would try another digital with FMU tomorrow. I have all my fingers crossed for you.

I really hate to say this but I've had 4 chemicals in the last 6 months and I could have written these posts. I really hope you get a different result to me though.
