TTC...but very confused

So my OH and I decided to really start TTC properly...however I'm really confused what my body is doing and wanted some advice!

My last few periods have been all over the place and been 30, 47 & 38 days cycles! Traditionally I'm a clockwork 30day girl, but with the last couple of months being so odd I don't know when I'm due anymore or when I should test etc.

I ovulated around 27/28th May so in theory should have my period this weekend (??) but now I just don't know!

The last week or so I have been exhausted, struggling to get up, wanting naps in the daytime, my nipples are always erect and tender (sorry if tmi), I can't stay off the loo as I'm constantly peeing (which isn't like me) and I've had a pms type tummy ache....are these pg symptoms or my body playing tricks?

I have a daughter who's nearly 8, but it's been so long since having her I've forgotten what everything is!

It is difficult to say but if you're pretty sure of when you ovulated then maybe test on Sat as that would be at least 14dpo and would normally be fairly accurate.

It's possible to have the things you describe as early symptoms, but a week ago would have been very early to have them because implantation is typically 7-10 days after conception and until that has happened there isn't really a mechanism for hormone release that would cause the symptoms. AF symptoms can be very similar and I know myself the power of wishful thinking!

If it was me I'd try to hang on til Sat if poss but if you really can't wait then a first response early one could potentially work now, if you can handle the fact that getting a BFN wouldn't be conclusive at this stage.

Hi, I also ovulated 27/28th. I had a weird tickling sensation in my pelvis day 6/7dpo then 48hrs of af like cramps following this some slight nausea, intermittant discomfort in pelvis and boobs and last few days very tired (but could just be the heat) tested yesterday 9/10dpo and BFN so waiting it out to Friday to test again if AF doesn't arrive. I've haven't tested yet but give me a couple of days and I'll probably cave!
I know the symptoms are to early wishful thinking on my part I guess. We are ready to make our family complete its hard not to get ahead of yourself sometimes!
I just wish my cycle got back to being regular that I didn't have the "when will AF come" question hanging over me!

I know what you mean. Im guessing a bit on cycle length too. Before I was on the pill 35 days, first month off pill 24 days... I've read that 12-14 days after ovulation is standard and that bit doesn't change month to month its the bit pre ovulation that can vary so knowing when we ovulated should help.

AF is "Aunty Flow" i.e your period

Testing in the morning feeling very nervous. Also feel nauseous, but DH has been throwing up all day so not a good indicator lol!

I tested last night and got a faint positive, did it again this morning and still faint on the online cheapies, but the boots one was a definite positive...although wasn't as dark as the control line!

OH says let's test again in a couple of days to be sure...but I guess it looks like I had signs for a reason hopefully (albeit super early!)

3 days late and another bfn this time on a frer still nauseous, peeing for england, really tired and frustrated, just want to know either way now but not feeling positive about this month now.

Oh Hun, I feel for you. I know how horrible it is when you are irregular too...you just want to know either way so you can move on with the next chapter (whatever it is). I hope you get your BFP soon x
