How many days post ovulation did you get your bfp and what test did you use?
Thank you flowerscakebrew

I was 10dpo and used 2 cheap tesco tests which were both very clear lines. Then confirmed with a clearblue digital at 14 dpo (day period expected).

I was good and waited to 15dpo and tested with a FRER! Line was very very dark though so I'm guessing I'd have got a line a good few days earlier if I'd have tested then!

14 and it was very faint. It was the day my period was due. I'd tested at 12 and 13 and got nothing.

10dpo and I got a positive on a sainsbury's digital and a first response

11dpo using an Internet cheapie but it was so faint I didn't really believe it was actually a line. It didn't get darker until 14dpo.

This site is good, OP. Lots and lots of stats!

(My figures will be no use to you as my pregnancy was a chemical.)

I was 10dpo and I used the tesco cheap tests, very faint lint. I did another test the next day and it was darker I am now 7+2 ☺️

About 10 dpo I got an immediate bpf with a first response test. Everyone is different though, I'm just not very patient and was quite surprised that it was positive so many days before my period was due.

I don't know exactly when I ovulated as I didn't keep track that month as we had MIL staying so didn't really 'try' that month. We only had sex once hmm For almost a year I'd been tracking and DTD every other day ect and I get pregnant the month we don't bother!!!

I was CD24 and 11 days after having sex so couldn't have been more than maybe 12 dpo I got a faint positive on a really cheap test from amazon but a clear blue said negative. The next day with fmu a clear blue said positive 1-2 weeks!

I started getting positives on a few ovulation kits I'd had lying around from tracking my cycle (not for TTC, just to see I was ovulating as I've had fertility issues in the past) from about 7-8 days past conception date (we only did it once blush, were v lucky).

I think I got first positive on Superdrug Early Detection kit about 10 DPO and next day a faint pos on FRER for 11 DPO. I didn't get thick strong lines until 14 DPO.

Im 22w+4 with a little boy grin

I tested 9dpo after a bit of spotting on 7dpo and horrendous lower back ache for two days. Tested early as my boyfriend was going away for three days with work so decided to test before he went, on 9dpo did a first response and got a faint positive, then a clear blue digital and got pregnant and 1-2 weeks. In a way I regret testing so early as I had a long time to wait to make sure that my period didn't turn up and I had 24 hours of spotting on 11dpo, which made me fear the worst.

Thanks everyone. Seems the average day everyone tested was 10dpo. I am 8dpo today so I guess I can wait until Monday morning when dp gets back and test then. Do you think it's pretty certain if you don't get a BFP that your out or is 10dpo too early sometimes? I don't want to keep buying lots of tests and getting stressed like last
Month

v v faint line 9dpo on eBay cheapy, nearly keeled over when I saw it, went out and immediately bought and First response early and a clear blue and both showed bam! BFP. lines got incrementally darker on eBay cheapies as I had loads left and just tested for the hell of it every couple of days!X

daydream86 Fri 03-Jun-16 16:46:46

I also echo ellie above, kinda regret testing early because it seemed an age hoping my period would stay away and not turn into a chemical, as I was spotting a little bit. however If I hadn't tested that day id have gone to a 30th birthday party and gotten shitfaced and then prob really bad abiut it later..

chloechloe Fri 03-Jun-16 21:35:51

Negative on10 dpo definitely doesn't mean you're out. 1st BFP for me was BFN 10 dpo and BFP 11dpo. 2nd was BFP 10dpo already. All using ICs.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed Fri 03-Jun-16 22:03:32

I first tested 9DPO, thought it was negative, went back a little while later and there was a very thin line. As I went back to it after about 30 mins didn't trust the reading!

Tested 10DPO and got this proper faint line within 5 minutes smile

11 dpo with clear blue 😀

I had a negative 13 days after sex with DD2 followed by a positive at 14 days after sex, and a strong positive at 10 days after sex (have never tracked ovulation sorry) with my current pregnancy (11+1 today). So I think it varies. I did use a Clearblue Digital with DD2 which was negative on day 13 after sex and I put the negative down to that because those tests aren't very sensitive - but I got a positive on a Clearblue Digital 10 days after sex with this pregnancy (and also a strong positive on a cheap Home Bargains pink test). I think 8 days PO is too early though.
