Is this a line?

I bought a clearblue early test but messed up my dates an accidentally tested 7 days, rather than 5 days, before my period is due. I couldn't tell if there was a line or not so took the tests apart. I'm still unsure. There seems to be an ultra faint line on each.

Going to test again on Monday but just wanted to see if anyone thought there was two lines on the tests.

I think so! Test again on Monday to be sure.

I'd test again in a few days, and don't stress in the mean time. It's such an anxiety provoking time TTC, am also in that boat. But from my previous pregnancies when the line is there, it def comes up strong.
Fingers crossed x

Thank you both. I guess my Friday wine might have to skip a week just in case :(

I also see a very faint line!! I tested at 10dpo (last Tuesday) and got a very faint line like this, I thought I was seeing things. Also I'm addicted to peeing on sticks so I tested everyday gradually the line gets darker and darker ( I'm still testing now!) crazy! Good luck I hope you get your BFP Smile

That was the first test I took and you can barely see the line

So just to check - if my period is due on the 17th when do you think is a good time to test?

you can get early tests ( I used CB and CBD) and test 5 days before your period is due! Good luck Smile

Mine was a really faint line like yours, did it again two days later and it was much clearer. Now he's 3 years old! Good luck!

Honestly the month I got my BFP I held out until my due date. Do that if you can (I know it's hard!)

I didn't even get a hint of a line until the day my period was due.

That's not faint at all!
Not sure if taking test apart makes any difference to it though?

I guess I just have to be patient and test again. I'm not convinced these tests were that good - took ages for even the control line to work.

The only reason I tested was because our kitten has suddenly become obsessed with sniffing my armpits and trying to milk me! When I got a bfp last time (before I mc) my cats became obsessed with me! Also, it's dp's birthday today so would had been a lovely extra present if so.

Well in that case, get out there and get a First Response test (best I've used), leave a gap between peeing so it isn't too diluted, and test again today!

Looks good. Re test

Definitely do the first response, as you say lovely extra pressie for dp. i can see the line on the other tests. fingers crossed.

I did another first response clear blue test thing this morning and it was a negative. A really clear negative.

So the tests in the first batch were probably faulty.

How sensitive are Clearblue? I seem to remember them not being that sensitive..

I took a Clear blue digital at 10dpo and it came up as pregnant 1-2 ... The line test was also positive but very faint so I'd say the digital is pretty good with FMU

Those aren't clear blue they are first response (I recognise the shape and the ink is red not blue). When you crack them open the strips dry out quicker than they should which can cause faint false positives on that brand.

If you know when you ovulated then test 12 to 14 days after that date, if you don't then wait until your period is due.

Good luck Smile

First Response and Clear Blue are two separate brands Confused

Sorry, I don't know why I kept saying First Response Clear Blue - I meant First Response Early Test (I think it's called). The one that let's you test 6 days before your missed period. Kept getting it muddled up with Clear Blue because I bought their digital one on the same day to use later if need be.

For the first two the lines were extremely faint but appeared just after the test strip. However, the test line took a lot longer than normal to appear. I did a First Response Early Test again this morning and it was negative. Took it apart as before and it was still negative - no line at all - and even now a few hours after it dried up still doesn't have a line on it.

I think the first two were faulty tbh. Or I peed on them wrong. Actually, thinking about it, with the first two I dunked them in a cup of pee and with the one I took today I peed on it.

I don't think it was a BPF to be honest… I feel like my period is about to start. It would have been nice, but I'm ok with it not being.

I got a line like Lura's 7day before my period was due (7dpo) it is possible.

I've got a thread about it here somewhere. I'm 30 weeks now.

I felt like my period was coming for the whole week before it was due and the weke it was 'late'

if you can feel it this early it might just be a positive!
