Hello everyone Im Aimee!!

so here I go! im looking for abit of advice! im a month late on my period (im always on time), I went to the clinic around about the 7th of april and done a pregnancy test but it came back negative, they told me to come back in 2 weeks time, which I did but also a negative result so they said if I didn't come on my period the week after to go see my doctor to get checked out, which I did this thurday they also wanted to do a pregnancy test with me so we did and I had a faint positive but because of the pain I was in they rushed me into hospital as she thought I was going through an etopic pregnancy but when I got to the hospital, thy done another urine test which came back negative so they done blood work but they also came back negative.
i've been told that you cannot have a false positive as there must be a trace of hcg in you system so make that second line appear on the pregnancy test!!
im having a lot of pregnancy-like-symptoms such as'; nausea, dizziness, back ache, weird food craving, using the bathroom a lot lately, mood swings terribly etc..
I don't know whats going on but I just want a definite yes or no as this also happened to my sister few years back and she ended up being pregnant

Hi Aimee
I can see why you are confused and I'm sure you are extremely frustrated not knowing!
I've heard lots of stories of women who only get BFN on home pregnancy tests but are still pregnant, but then blood tests at hospital pick up their pregnancy. I think they are much more sensitive to HcG. Maybe you could be pregnant but very low HcG? A quick read online shows that the normal rage of HcG at four weeks ranges from 5- into the four hundreds.
I think you will prob have to go back to your GP to try get some answers!

I would say that you need a scan if nothing is getting picked up on blood tests etc x

Thank you all for your response!
I just woke up with terrible pain in the left hand side of my stomach with very very light bleeding like a pinky colour I think the best option is to contact my gp in the morning and book an appointment x
