Hi! I'm Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or can offer some
Words of wisdom?
We have been TTC for 3 months now sadly without any luck. However this month AF is currently 10 Days late but I got a BFN from a clear blue test this morning (I swear our bodies like to play tricks on us just to be cruel) ... I am now worried that something else may be going on and I'm just hoping some of you ladies have any Advice or if anyone has been in a similar situation before?!
Thanks in advance xx

I think try and remember that 6 months is normal and nothing to worry about, and even up to 12 months isn't unusual. 3 months is too early to be worrying!

3 months is nothing! And remember it is a very small window of opportunity each month. Don't hang all your hopes on it as I know how bloody horrible it can be to constantly feel let down. Have you just come off the pill or anything? It can take a long time for things to change.

I'm 23 weeks in now but it took us two years to get here. Just be patient as hard as that can feel. X

Hi ladies. Thanks for getting back to me I came off my contraception 5/6 months ago as I thought I best give it a few months to let everything settle down before we started trying. I know, it's really hard not to fixate on it though isn't it! FruityB congratulations!!! I hope the pregnancy is going smoothly for you? I would of been fine but I've been given false hope this month haha with AF being so late! I'll try to take a chill pill xxx

It took me a whole year after coming off the pill before my cycles started to resemble anything like regular. We're now on cycle 12 with not even a hint of a bfp. It could be stress that caused you to ovulate late, therefore making your period later than usual. Are you temping or using opks so you know when you ovulate?

simplydivine05 I hope you get your BFP soon!
I had a dodgy really long cycle in December but then they went back to clockwork other than this month for some reason. I don't feel overly stressed but maybe I am, I tried really hard not to think about it this month and to just think what will be will be because I was starting to drive myself mad. I have been using basic ovulation sticks but I've just brought an all singing all dancing ovulation pack thing from clear blue xx

Pregnancy is great once the crippling tiredness in first trimester goes, and aside from finding sleeping comfortably really hard it's been fine. I'm having serious hip trouble at the mo and am currently building pillow forts!

I had 27 day cycles that were as predictable as they came yet it still took a long time. I guess there's no fail safe method at all. I temped I used opk I did all sorts. It was only when I'd resigned myself to stopping trying due to getting married next year that it happened! I love every minute but I'm not taking anything for granted.

Thanks Becki. I did use cheap opks but now I just temp and I find it gives me a good overview throughout my cycle. For example, if I get a temp dip two days before my period is due I know I'm not pregnant. I'm a lot less stressed out about it all now than I was a couple of months in. I don't symptom spot as much either. I just drove myself mad with it all and it consumed every waking moment. I focus on things that I can do while not pregnant or with a baby Smile
