Hie allStar
I'm on the 11th cycle of ttc. Been on and off buses. Have experienced highs and lows and just had a moment remembering when I was new to msnet and understanding the acronyms gave me a hard time.i honestly thought bd meant "banging dad" 😂
Anyone else mistake the meanings??

Hahahah that's bloody hilarious! Some of the acronyms on here are ridiculous let's be honest, but none as funny as that Wink

Haha that's brilliant/a bit disturbing Grin
I've been doing all this for so long that I don't remember what I thought anything meant, I do know I found it confusing though!

Haha magpie, the dad I meant was other half not father 😂. How are you and far along are you now? Hope all is well.

Been TTC #2 for nearly 17 months now! I think I might've ovulated for the first time in all that time though and am now at 7DPO so there's a bit of hope!

Fingers and toes crossed for you then hun. Hope you are eating pineapples or baby aspirin to help with implantation. I'm on the 11th cycle so on with the battle.

I'll get on the pineapples! I've been having acupuncture which I think has helped.
It's not an easy battle is it? Are you doing anything different this cycle? I keep trying to find new things to throw into the mix!

I've not tried either of those, what do the Royal jelly tablets do? I was considering agnus castcus at one point as I have irregular cycles but got diagnosed with PCOS and put on metformin so I'm giving that a shot first. My acupuncturist got me to take an iron supplement as well.

Then your chances are high hun. Fx Plan on poas soon or waiting until af is due? After being on threads were you get a bfp 6days before af on a frer, only to start bleeding when af is due((so heartbreaking)), I try to wait as long as I can.

I've been thinking about it today. I only ovulated twice the last time we when we were trying for DS (in the 16 months it took us!) the first time I got AF at 9DPO, so the second time I waited until 10DPO before testing but got a bfn, then got my BFP at 11DPO. So the sensible thing to do would be to wait as long as possible but I'll probably end up testing at 9/10DPO anyway.
You're right about it leading to heartbreak though, very restrained of you to be able to wait!

Mimilicious013 · 24/04/2016 18:45

I have not always been restrained ((practically emptied my pockets with hpts 😂)) only this month two ladies had chemical pregnancies and it was devastating. We had celebrated only for af to show. it really got me down.

That does sound pretty devastating Sad I think it's quite common as well but not a lot of women realise it's happening unless they've tested early. It's so hard to resist though!

Will do! I normally just use cheapie tests, but haven't done much testing as I know I haven't been ovulating. Doesn't always stop me though!

Morning. Hope you slept well. A new day, a new cdSmile.ic are the way to go. Very economical Grin and no chance of a fake positive. Will you be poas today 8dpo or u are waiting until Wednesday.?have a great day

I didn't test this morning so I'm quite proud of myself Grin I did have some painful cramps when I woke up though so I think AF might be on her way anyway. Looking back at old charts, I got AF at 9DPO which seems like a short LP. So will try not to worry if that happens again.
How are you this morning?

Have you done SMEP? I've heard of loads of people getting results with that. I'm sure it helped when I had DS (that and Clomid!)

Not this time, I was to have DS (he's 2.5 now). I'm on metformin for PCOS but that's it. Meant to be seeing the gynaecologist sometime next month and he said we could talk about Clomid if the metformin hasn't helped regulate my cycles.
Great that you got upduffed after Clomid though! I had a really bad time on it mood wise so would rather avoid it if I can.
