Gah didn't realise we'd reached 1000 messages on the old thread!

<paces around nervously wondering if anyone will find her>

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 13:54:30

I'd tried to post on the last thread until I was rudely told that the thread had been closed that it is great news about your NHS prescription for Clexane Geek! Nicely done.

ControlGeek Thu 21-Apr-16 13:59:59

<plonks in large bag of drugs, packets of crisps, jug of weak lemon tea and a 'congratulations on your new fred' banner>

Thanks imps, I was floored when I found out! £8.20 plays £250-odd!

cartoontrickster Thu 21-Apr-16 14:12:22

gah! typed out my post and then couldn't post it!

thats great about the perscription geek and thanks for the info.

the costs do all add up dont they although mine seems cheap in comparison! did go through it twice though and cant remember how much intial tests and appointments were. totally worth every penny and more though, i hate that it comes down to money but i would have and always will find it if thats how it has to be for us.

iwillbemrsminty Thu 21-Apr-16 14:16:13

Can I join the new fred please imps? I was a long time lurker on the old one but am hopping on board your squeaky clean new one! grin

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 14:37:45

Tell us about you...

Munxx Thu 21-Apr-16 14:45:56

Hello! You may not remember me but I have been lurking for news and am delighted that there is so much good news! I cried some happy tears for you all, Imps, Geek, keep and lovely beedle I can hardly believe it.

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 14:48:52

I LOVE a new thread. This calls for cake all round cake

iwillbemrsminty Thu 21-Apr-16 14:59:10

About me.... Well I'm 34 (almost 35) and TTC #1 (recently got my BFP but after a week ended up being chemical sad so onto cycle 4 and currently on CD8.

Eeeek i feel like a newbie!

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 17:15:06

Chemicals are a massive pile of wank and we've had enough of them on this thread. Sorry it happened to you Minty but you are now guaranteed a sticky BFP on account of joining this thread. Congratulations!

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 17:19:40

I've not had any calls about my combined test results yet, so if I don't hear tomorrow, hopefully it means that I'm not high risk. That'd be nice.

ControlGeek Thu 21-Apr-16 18:51:00

<waves madly at munx> hello lovely!!!

You will not get a call, imps, simple grin

welcome minty, I'm sorry about your cp. This will be your cycle!

Can I just say what a pleasure it is to go to a dink-free workplace each day starstarstar

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 18:53:04

What's happened to Dink Geek? What have you done with the body?

Am in a bit of a state of shock about Prince dying confused

Pastamancer Thu 21-Apr-16 19:10:12

Lovely thread Imps <Adds multicoloured buns that I made earlier to the stash>

Welcome Minty, as Imps said, you are guaranteed a BFP now you've posted here

ControlGeek Thu 21-Apr-16 19:20:43

Dink left last Friday imps that's my story and I'm sticking to it

I'm still trying to get over Victoria Wood, David Bowie and Lemmy. Prince was never really my thing, neither was David Gest, but still, so sad that so many 'younger' older people are dying this year.

Imps9 Thu 21-Apr-16 19:25:38

Alan Rickman was (still is) a shocker too. My favourite actor. And Terry Wogan too who was a superstar. What losses.

ControlGeek Thu 21-Apr-16 19:44:36

I'd forgotten Alan Rickman had gone too sad

Imps9 Fri 22-Apr-16 06:32:20

How's everyone this morning?

Minty am assuming you're coming up to Shag Week if you're on CD9 - when do you normally ov?

Keep, Geek, Loops, all other Brookers WE'RE OVER HEEEEERE <waves frantically so they don't miss us>

BeedlesPineNeedles Fri 22-Apr-16 08:12:02

I found you!

geek fab news about dinkboss grin

munxx how Lovely to see you, its so nice when old brookers pop in to say hi.

welcome minty

imps add Lovely to the list of random capitals!

geek was today your milestone of furthest you've got? And fab news about the prescription.

I've got a bit of a sharp stabby pain today, not all the time just now and then - something else to get worried about.

Imps9 Fri 22-Apr-16 09:03:44

I've had that - I think it's the ligaments. Is it in an ovary/tube type place or straight up the fanjo?

Trix what news with you? Any more spotting? How are your gums/boobs/spots/farts? (if that's not too personal a question grin)

ControlGeek Fri 22-Apr-16 09:05:50

Sharp stabby pain sounds like round ligament pain beedle, and you're just at the right point to get it, too.

Yes, today is the point at which mc#1 happened, though I'd been bleeding despite increasing HCG levels for a few days before. If I can get through today safely, it'll be a whole week without anything untoward happening since last Friday's bleed.

I've booked my scan, they couldn't do Wednesday the swines so I had a choice of Tuesday with the sonographer that I don't rate, or Thursday with a very experienced Dr. I went for Thursday. How many years is it between now and then?!?!

Imps9 Fri 22-Apr-16 09:16:06

About 46 light years Geek

BeedlesPineNeedles Fri 22-Apr-16 09:31:14

geek thursday is indeed years away but worth it for the nice sonographer. Same day as my NT scan.

talking of scans, you were right on the last thread keep my 18 week scan is at 19.5 weeks - I've been conned!

Round ligament pain could be right, its really low down on the right side in the pube area!

iwillbemrsminty Fri 22-Apr-16 09:33:53

Morning fellow brookers! Have to say, I am LOVING the positive vibes on here..... <makes self comfortable>

Shag week is indeed approaching Imps, the OPK's have come out this morning and DP is back on day shifts now (after a week of 12 hour nights) so we'll be on it! Had a quick practice this morning grin.... I think I usually ov around cd 13/14, not religiously doing the opk's, will probs just go by ewcm. We're having a weekend away in May to go see Bryan Adams around the time AF is likely due so fx she doesn't make an unwelcome appearance!

cartoontrickster Fri 22-Apr-16 09:55:22

No change here, so am in the shops purchasing a stack of tests. Will update when I'm home
