Am 38, been ttc for 8 months.

2 chemical early miscarriages so far.

Am doing everything I can, using the clearblue fertility monitor, cut out/down on caffeine and alcohol, eating healthy, trying not to get stressed etc

Doctor has done all the fertility tests, everything appears normal range.

So pissed off that AF arrived, thought this just might be the month :(

What do you do to treat yourself when this happens?

Thinking of opening some champagne tonight with hubby....

I'm really sorry LB. That sucks. It sounds like you are doing all the right things and it's extra cruel that you've had two BFPs. Champagne sounds an excellent idea - also Cake.

I don't do anything in particular but I have decided I'm going to do something nice next week on the day eg get a manicure, or buy some posh toiletries or go out for a cocktail or even slob on the sofa watching a film... Something nice, pointless and child-unfriendly.

Good luck Flowers

Takeaway, prosecco or champagne and lots of chocolate.

Wear PJs, snuggle on the couch with the duvet and consume all of the above.

Sorry the witch has appeared. I've been TTC 11 months and the last few months have started to send me borderline loopy.

I would have a huge plate of soft cheeses (all the ones you can't eat during pregnancy) and biscuits. I put on quite a bit of weight whilst ttc...

Flowers and lots of good luck for you

Pâté, red wine, a lovely cheese board.. I missed that stuff so much when pregnant and wish I'd made the most of it before.

Sorry LB that is rough. I haven't been trying long ... I didn't realise how emotionally stressful ttc was! ... so what did I do? I cried a bit and then enjoyed a very hot bath with a good book and just escaped for a while.

Feeling the same. Was hopeful this month as our timing was really good, but just started spotting and cramping this evening - it's just shit, isn't it. I'm planning on a very good bottle of red wine.

Haha Loki i'm the same. Be strong for a few hours after convince myself to stay positve. Then inevitably end up sobbing. Then eat and get back on it. it so disappointing though i completely understand. the worst thing is the frustration that you have to wait another 32 days again before you know and theirs nothing you can do about it.

The worst bit is, no matter how much i tell myself not to, i always end up convincing myself that this month is the month!

Onwards and upwards. fx for May bfp yeah? xx
