I had a mmc in July last year and had an erpc. My periods came back within a month, however I don't think they have been the same since - they are now much lighter, and only last for 2 to 3 days. I'm pretty sure that before the mc, they lasted about 6 days and were much heavier. The mmc was my second child, and I conceived my first easily and also my second.

We have been trying for another baby since the mc, (so 9 months) but no success. I'm wondering if there is any relationship. Does anyone have experience of this and whether it had anything to do with their fertility?

My period are different since my miscarriage. I can't help really because I just don't know. Have you seen your GP?

Sorry for your mmc, I had one in 2012, dc3 was born 2 years later. My periods became more regular and predictable if anything. Were you given a reason for the MMC? Just wondering if there may have been something that was cleared which perhaps could have caused heavier periods previously??? - please note, I'm just pondering based on no medical knowledge whatsoever.

Def second going to See your gp as pp says, just to reassure you- they may suggest a scan just to check all is ok.

Very best wishes for your bfp and sticky bean soon x

Thanks, for your replies. It's reassuring that others changed afterwards too. I had a scan in December to check all was ok, and apparently it was. I wasn't sure if the GP would do much more - I expect they will tell me things take time, but I thought it would have happened by now.
