how do I move things along with the doctors?

Long story short ttc #2 came off oil August 15 cycles not regulated currently on day 75.

Had an ultrasound on Thursday as been having a lot of left pelvic pain and upper abdo pain. Got docs later this week to discuss results (I made apt not doc) if they come back normal I would like to move things along. I'm not great at being assertive but I don't want to be told I've got to wait for a year for things to regulate for several reasons:

  1. I have a history of thyroid problems
  2. It didn't take this long to regulate when ttc DS and I was on the pill for 8 yrs before that (18mnths this time)
  3. I also don't want to wait any longer than necessary. I started off with 33 day cycle then 39 now 75 so it's not settling down its getting worse!

So how do I articulate that in a straight to the point way to the docs to get them to take me seriously??!!

    Any help appreciated!!

I would put the onus on them ie if the scan is abnormal ask the gp
What are they going to do about it? Are they going to send you for bloods? Ask questions and dont be fobbed offGrin
