i gave birth to my ds a week ago. but while in labor the midwife who was my dh ex girlfriend was terrible she was blaming me for everything about half ogf her arm was in my lady parts while giving birth which im sure i dangerous she told me to calm down but i couldnt because i was in so much pain then after i gave birth she had the cheek to call my ds a frog because of his large head. and tis was the reason for the painful birth no love it was ypu fat hand which made the birth more painful then it should be. i feel sorry for the poor women who have to have her as a midwife she was a joke. and im psure she was trying to get it on with my dh. comments like ' is she always like this i dont know how you cope' like was that needed. then she says 'it gorgous just like his daddy' then looks straight at me with an evil glare after. like seriously? why is she being so immature. should i complain to the hospital about this because im really worried that she may be treating other patients the same way.

Any chance your view of her may be slightly coloured by her being your Dh's ex?

Even if there isn't i guess that's what she would say.

It's physically impossible btw to get half an arm in your lady bits.

I'd have asked for a different midwife if I was assigned to my husband's ex gf. Awkward much?

Is this real? Did you know she was going to be there for the birth or was that the first time you met her during your pregnancy? If it's real then complain but it sounds rather fantastical to me!

Make a complaint, if you feel it's warranted. Were there other health staff in the room to support your allegation, or provide a second account?

Well if her arm was in your lady parts i think one or both you have a serious physiological issue that needs addressing.

You should have insisted on a different midwife as soon as you realised it was her.

Also think you might have had your heckles raised without her even opening her mouth.

But yes if she called your child a frog i would complain.

Just seen her arm was in your lady parts while you were giving birth. Are you fully human?

If you feel she acted unprofessionally, then you should make a complaint. How come neither you nor your partner asked for a different midwife?

Given the relationship between your partner and the midwife, I mean.
