Post miscarriage - when did you ovulate?

Can I ask how soon after an early miscarriage did you ovulate again?

I started miscarrying on the 5th of March and the active bleeding lasted about two days. Tomorrow is the two week anniversary of when the bleeding started.

I have no idea when to expect ovulation (possibly planning on TTC again straight away) and I'm not getting any lines at all on my OPKs, not even a hint of a faint line, just nothing.

Is there a normal length of time before ovulation starts again or is it just a waiting game?

I think it's a waiting game. I ovulated about 3 weeks after I stopped bleeding post-ERPC, so around 4 weeks after the operation itself. Just keep peeing on the sticks basically!

I had a very early miscarriage on March 2nd... Started opks as soon as the bleeding stopped and found that there was always a faint line (must have been picking up left over hcg) until about CD9, then clear for 2 days, then a very strong positive on CD11 (and other ov symptoms). My temps indicated I ovulated CD13 which is bang on for a standard cycle for me. I was VERY early though. Positive pregnancy test on a Friday, and bleed + 2 days bad cramping the following Wednesday. So perhaps this is more of a chemical pregnancy. Either way here's hoping everything is all a bit more fertile this month!
Are you monitoring your BBT too?

Hi winterwannabe I am in the exact same place. Miscarried on the 5th and bleeding last a week. It's CD13 for me today and no line on the ovulation test, but feeling slightly uncomfortable and wonder if ovulation is round the corner...just a feeling. So will be interested in what people have to say. We would like to start ttc ASAP as I am 38 in a couple of weeks and want a smallish gap between dd1 and the next one. She is 20 months.

I had an early mc last month and bled for a week. I didn't use OPKs but CM made me think I was ovulating days 10-21. My DH was so frustrated as I said nearly every day I think I must be oving today. In the end I think it happened on day 21 which is a bit later than normal.

It depends how far along you were. I mcd at 13 weeks and I didn't ovulate until after my first af. You won't start until you have had a negative test. Sorry for your loss x

Was anyone else recommended to take a baby/junior aspirin daily after mc? My sister was advised to do this and I've read a few other accounts online of women who have added this into their TTC plan. I couldn't find any baby aspirin at the shops, but a low dose version (only 75mg) and have been taking that along with folic acid once the bleed ended...

14 days after the erpc.

75mg is "baby" aspirin. Don't take it unless under doctor supervision.

Hi-from the start of mc bleeding to first af was 50 days exactly for me and I ovulated 15 days before my first af after. I'm into my second cycle now and I'm in cd19 and just about to ov now.
I started to chart my temps after the mc to confirm ov as well as using opk's to predict it.

Sorry for your loss OP and good luck for your future ttc Thanks
