I conceived DS first cycle and have now been trying and failing to conceive DC2 for nearly a year.

Testing reveals no particular problems, so I wondered if you could simultaneously inspire and cheer me up by giving details of any crazy fertility boosting things you did and which worked - DTD at the full moon, hanging upside down afterwards, eating green tomatoes etc etc?

Middle of the night sex and don't get up for the loo afterwards.

We were many years trying to conceive with no specific issues. When we got the all clear, we went to a party, got shitfaced (I hadn't been drinking all that time) and ended up doing it on the living room floor and fell asleep. Was pregnant the next month - think anxiety had played a big part too. We had our 2nd 13 months after the first as we hadn't taken any precautions thinking that it would take a few years again. :o

Good luck!

Oh and book an exciting holiday - sods law generally intervenes. We still haven't got to bloody Austria.

Ha ha not sure I can face an 'exciting holiday' with a 3 year old in tow but I'll think about it!!

we booked to go to Austria on our own, then found out I was pregnant and wouldn't be able to fly at the time of the holiday. We had DS1 and then decided we'd go and take him with us, booked to go to Austria and....well you know the rest. Didn't fancy taking two little ones abroad at that point. As they got older we sort of forgot (they are teenagers now) and now DH refuses to go abroad so that's pretty much that.
