Arghhh!

Took test this morning, left for 10mins & came back to this- is it an evaporation line?

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 19:28:05

It looks like a line to me! Why do you think evaporation line?

JG25 Thu 10-Mar-16 19:32:20

I don't know- I just think I can't be this lucky! I'm not due for another 6 days so just feel its all too good to be true!

Pinkheart5915 Thu 10-Mar-16 19:33:29

I can see a very faint line

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 19:34:00

You will now need to do them every day and see if it gets stronger! Hope so! smile

Do you mind if I'm neurotic & post a picture of the test when I pulled it apart?

Urgh, I almost want someone to come along & tell me it looks like an evap line so I don't get too excited!

JG25 Thu 10-Mar-16 19:39:46

Here it is-

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 19:40:18

I don't really know about pulled apart tests but I'm sure someone will! Do you mean the line came up after 10mins or you did it this morning and waited 10 mins and there was nothing then you came home tonight and it was like that?

Flossiesmummy Thu 10-Mar-16 19:42:39

I think that's a BFP. thanks

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 19:48:37

Have just looked up evaporation lines - from what I gather it depends if that line came up within the timeframe it was meant to. If it was hours later it could be an evaporation line (hope not).

JG25 Thu 10-Mar-16 19:48:46

My god, I can't even see a line in that picture I posted.

So, to clarify, I did the test, put it on the side, went to see to DC1 & came back within 10-15mins max and saw this.

I'm so nervous, I can't bring myself to test again just incase it's negative. It's almost like I'd prefer to have a fake positive then a real negative sad

TattieHowkerz Thu 10-Mar-16 19:50:21

I think it is a faint positive, which makes sense seeing as it is so early, congratulations thanks

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 19:50:50

Well that sounds fine especially when it is so early. Sounds like a good chance of it being positive. The sensible you should do another one in the morning but the less sensible you should do another one now - and show us!!

JG25 Thu 10-Mar-16 19:56:41

I'm considering waking DC1 to go to boots and pick up a first response.

15 hard months it took to conceive her, 100's of ovulation tests- I still can't believe I'd be lucky enough on my second month of trying.

Flossiesmummy Thu 10-Mar-16 19:59:31

It took me a similar amount of time for Dd1 and three cycles for this pregnancy smile

I've decided that I'm going to buy a FRER this afternoon (I'm in the US) & test again tomorrow morning.

I'm bracing myself for a negative though, considering that I'm not due for another 6 days!

Nospringflower Thu 10-Mar-16 21:01:24

Keep us posted / good luck!

JG25 Thu 10-Mar-16 23:24:19

Will do, just bought FRER and trying desperately not to test right now!

Pinkheart5915 Thu 10-Mar-16 23:28:23

Test again for the next few days, the line will get darker.

Keep us posted

Fingers crossed

JG25 Fri 11-Mar-16 01:50:28

So I've just done another test & it's definately negative.

Sitting in bed crying. Boo!

Flossiesmummy Fri 11-Mar-16 04:06:19

Six days is still very early. Not all is lost just yet.

Flowers for you thanks

JG25 Fri 11-Mar-16 18:12:42

Thanks Flossiesmummy. It's so hard to feel relaxed about it, it's crushing everyone time I see a BFN.

Nospringflower Sat 12-Mar-16 11:23:12

Aww sorry to read that. I'm still a bit hopeful for you though as it is definitely a line showing there and it is very early so still time to go. Good luck.

JG25 Sat 12-Mar-16 19:05:22

Thanks nospringflower, I've taken a 2 more tests both which come back as negative.

Does anyone here have any advice on how many dpo they were when they got a very very faint line?

TattieHowkerz Sat 12-Mar-16 19:57:15

I got a very faint line at 10dpo, but I know other people can take up to 15 or 16 dpo to get a line.
