Help, can you see faint lines here?? My husband is out so need second opinion!! I've been bleeding on and off since Thursday and its been bright red so I assumed it was AF starting and not implantation.

I would call that a positive for sure

The bleeding is a worry but normally if AF it starts and that's it - for me personally anyway

If it's light and not constant then it may be nothing to worry about

Thanks ladies. The lines have got a bit stronger now although obviously outside the test time.
It's very light bleeding, brown-ish but (TMI alert!) red after bearing down to go to the loo.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see, will test again with FMU in the morning.
So nerve wracking! Sad

Good luck! In my experience negative pregnancy tests are very obviously negative and the fact the bleeding is light is good :)

Yeah I've had negatives before and they are very stark white which is why I was quite shocked to see this. Keeping everything crossed!x

I can see lines Newgirl! I don't think the bleeding is overly concerning because its light, but you could perhaps ring the Dr's first thing Monday if it's still going by then? Might put your mind at ease. Congrats on the positive! Xx

It could be a chemical pregnancy. I had one last September had positive tests (light) but started my AF and it fell away. Keep and eye on it and see if you can get a blood test tha will look at your hormone level rising.

Just try a relax. Hope all goes well X

Looks like two lines to me. I did spot pink for a few days when my period was supposed to start but went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I have all my fingers crossed for you. We're also trying to conceive and my period is a day late but I'm too chicken to take the test yet.

I've had 2 early miscarriages where I had the positive test but was bleeding when going to the toilet. Both times I got a positive test but 2/3 days later the bleeding got heavier like a proper AF and I had a negative test.

I'm now on pregnancy number 3 and hoping for a sticky bean this time as I've made it to 6 weeks. However I had some brown discharge a week ago that I assumed was my period. I was surprised to get the positive test on Thursday as I had though I was in the middle of a new cycle. Bean must have made it through what I thought was a light period so it can happen.

Hoping mine continues to stick. I know how heart wrenching it is and the not knowing can make it awful.

Good luck snowberry and roobix its so nerve wracking isn't it.

I keep saying 'if I am pregnant', I don't quite believe it yet.
Not had any red bleeding since Saturday and only a tiny amount of brown spotting now. Tests are still positive albeit very faint, I'm still only 12 DPO. Hoping they get darker soon and I can really start believing it!

Still too nervous to take a test! Still got my fingers crossed for you!

I had implantation bleeding with DS and it was bright red - I assumed it was my period and proceeded to get very drunk that night at an anniversary party! It lasted a day or so and then went away.

Obviously that was me and not you but implantation bleeding can be heavier than you think. Fingers crossed for you.

Roobix so you are 3 days late now?? Don't know how you've held out so long!! Fingers crossed for you Thanks

Magpie that's so funny that exactly what I did on Friday!! Was so annoyed at 'my period' coming so early I thought f*ck it Shock!

Things are looking good, quite a good test this morning (pic below). Still got some brown spotting but only a little bit, it's mostly thick/creamy cm now. Boobs have started getting sore too.

Congratulations!! Amazing!
Tip for when you do you next test, don't drink too much the night before, and do it with FMU. I've be doing them with FMU but they weren't getting stronger so think my pee was still diluted. Today's one was much better after drinking minimal amounts last night Grin.

What due date calculators have you girls been using? My cycles have been different lengths between 29-38 so don't know what to put in!

I used yourduedate.com. I tried it from the first day of my last period and the day we conceived (we were ill last month and only did it once!) and got the 3rd of November and then the 1st of November

Report
NewGirl2015 · 01/03/2016 15:44

So I got 9th November based on conception date and 12th based on LMP! GrinGrinGrin

So we can safely say the first two weeks in November ! Grin

I used an NHS one (I think)

But I'm going to ask for a c-section as dd2 was 10lb and got stuck! so maybe I might be taken in earlier.

Ah we going to have little early Christmas presents of the stalk Wink
