Brown discharge before period after coming off the pill?

Hi,
I came off the pill in December and have since had a 37 day cycle with brown discharge from days 28-33.

Again, this cycle I have started with the discharge at day 26 and it's continued to now (5 days later). I'm getting horrible cramping and headaches which are so much worse this month than last.

Has anyone else had experience of this after coming off the pill? And how long did it take to settle down? Did you use anything to help?
