Hi all,

Am brand new to this, having tried for the first time this month /eek Confused

I'm currently 8 dpo and had various symptoms which could easily PMS or PG -
Very sore boobs! But they feel bigger - bra leaving marks
Emotional - so godamn weepy Blush
More clear CM than usual
Feeling the cold much more than usual
Bit of an upset tummy in the morning

So I've been swaying between convincing myself I'm pg and telling myself off for getting carried away.

So alcohol - this is thus tricky! I've been having the odd glass of wine, but is that okay? What do you think?

Hello! I'm 6 dpo and have been having 1-2 small glasses of wine still when I fancy. This may or may not be the right thing to do...!

It's so cruel that pms symptoms are so close to preg ones! I hope it's the latter for you

I do, but I think it's because i've been ttc for quite a long time that I never quite believe i'll get my bfp. I also know the week before AF is due, I get cramps, a feeling of nausea, sore boobs and my mood totally changes. 7 years ago (when I was last pregnant) I remember having a strong feeling i'd conceived as in the days leading up to AF coming I had no symptoms at all, no sore boobs, no cramping, no nausea etc I just needed a wee all the time! So I don't have a 2ww really, I have a 1ww.

I personally think it's fine, after all it's only implanting at that point isn't it?

If it takes you a year to conceive and you didn't drink durin the tww you'd be not drinking for 6months of that year, and that will get tedious and stressful.

As no alcohol passes to the foetus until after the placenta has formed you won't be doing a potential baby any harm and as long as you are otherwise healthy it won't stop you getting pregnant.

I was so convinced I hadn't conceived that I went out 3 nights in a row and got absolutely blind drunk all three nights (it was a one off!) Cocktails, wine, beer, shots, you name it! 2days later got a bfp. That bfp is now a perfectly healthy 3 week old little fella who is currently asleep on me!

Thank you for your posts!

Congrats on your little one Juno, he sounds adorable.

That's really reassuring. I had a glass of wine last night with tea and enjoyed it Wine

5 days until AF is due now. Had bleeding gums last night when I brushed my teeth - which I don't usually get. Yet another thing getting my hopes up!

I fear AF is going to march in next week and undo all my illusions.
