Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for about 6 months I had been on pill and implant for around 4 years since my first child but stopped 6 months ago should I be worried and go to gp ??

Hi Lucy

Me and my dh have been ttc for a year now, have been on bc (cerezette mini pill) for about 5 years prior to this. Am also starting to worry now. Had hormonal tests and full set of bloods done recently but all come back normal. I personally only went to gp at the 9 month mark, but if you are worried maybe give them a ring, they may be able to reassure you? Fingers crossed you get you bfp very soon! xx

Nice to just have reassurance was starting to worry as with first happened instantly but was younger and I know these things can take time but it's in back of head what if all the time nice just to have the reassurance :-)

I conceived DD in month 7 if that helps Smile.
I think it depends on your age. Under 35 and you should see gp after a year, over and it's 6 months.

We've been TTC for 8 months after falling instantly the first time around. Anything up to 12 months is generally considered to be normal. Feels like a sodding lifetime though!
