I had a miscarriage 5 months ago (first pregnancy) and although mumsnet was amazing with the support and advice and understanding - I have had to stay away after it was all done and really over. I had to stop myself from visiting my old board as I knew it would be torture to see where I would have been if my little bean had made it.

Threw myself into work, our new place and a few other things we had going and tried to get myself back to normal. Hubby and I both agreed we weren't ready to start trying again right away.

But I think we're ready to try again now and I've begun to let myself feel positive about it again - new year, new house and a new start... !

Hi Lillian
I'm sorry for your loss but great that you're able to move on now.

We have been ttc in a relaxed way the past 4 months but no news yet! I have a DD aged 3 and I had a mc nearly 2 years ago, we hadn't felt ready for the next one until a few months ago as I moved jobs and wanted to get properly settled in.

So nearly the new year now and am going to get a bit more serious with the charting etc and hope for a bfp soon too!

Ooo yey! More TTC-ers!

Its my first day here. Thought I best join considering everytime I googled for answers they came up on here ;) My fiancé and I are TTC baby #1 and had implant removed early September. I ovulated on the 22nd of this month (opks) and I now have really horrendously sore nipples and bad gas to the point it's impossible to hold in ;) I'm not testing yet, as it's too early. Fingers crossed for you both

Hello Zebra - I'm trying to be relaxed about it too. Before my mc we'd been trying for about 1-1.5 years.

Let's see what the new year brings!

Hi Mollie - it's hard not to test too early isn't it? I amaze myself every day that goes by - but I did buy a couple of tests to have on hand today :)
