Anyone fancy joining me on a 2ww thread?

Technically I should be on the January bus, but as I've only just ovulated I only feel able to look ahead to a possible bfp now, and the Jan bus is already 10 pages long! I was reasonably active on the November bus, and did join the December one, but hardly posted, as I was convinced (rightly) that I had no chance of a bfp that month.

So, anyone fancy joining me for a 2ww thread??

Here are my stats:

Age: 36
TTC: #2
Cycle: #9
ETD: 10th Jan

Me please!

Age: 26
TTC: number one
Cycle: 23 (pcos)

I'm remaining optimistic for a last minute Christmas miracle, but won't be too upset if not as beginning treatment in the new year Smile

Due to test on the 6th but determined to hold out a week after that due to ovulation/ovia app confusion!

Good luck ladies!

Thanks golden pineapple Smile moving on and trying to keep positive for 3rd time lucky!!

Just can't bear these 2ww. Turns me into a mad woman. Body plays tricks on me and I become convince I'm pregnant then convinced and angry that I can't possibly be. Then end up POAS 5 times a day it's costing me a fortune. Going to try and refrain from doing that this month but I don't trust myself or my will power lol!!

Fingers crossed for us all!! Good luck broody if u POAS today X

I know what you mean Lucinda. I'm so good at convincing myself that I'm pregnant when I'm not. Then I feel like an idiot when af arrives, especially if I've done an early test.

Please may I join (already feeling a little bit nutty):

Age:32
TTC: #1
CD: 17
ETD: 8th Jan (but suspect more likely 10th\11th given usual cycle length).

Not totally sure we caught FW quite right this time as decided not to think about it over Christmas, tested on 27th and had peak smiley face on Clearblue and very obvious dark lines on OPK (both gone by 28th) so not a huge amount of time for DTD. First 2WW - already wishing away the holiday!

PS rather envious of DH who seems totally able to tune out and not think about it (even though he is the super broody one!).

Hi everyone, also in tww (nearing the end!)

stats:
Age 30
Ttc #1
Cycle 10 (1 miscarriage cycle 8 @ 9 weeks)
Etd 31st dec

I'm due on 2nd jan so I could probably test tomorrow but I want to Give myself the best chance of a positive! Haven't had any typical signs but have had bad indigestion that I don't usually suffer with and very cracked dry lips - also not usual for me...of course could be to do with too much food!! And the odd glass of wine, has anyone managed the xmas period tea total?

Fingers crossed for everyone

I know that feeling Bubbles! It's almost sweet if he wasn't so relaxed. I have endometriosis and only one working tube so I'm not holding out for anything. If it happens it happens.

Good to see there's a few of us to keep each other company.
I seem to spend my time obsessively checking ovia, as if it's going to somehow change over the course of the day!
No symptoms here- nothing that can't be put down to the excesses of Christmas. Def not tee total here Pickledsausage. I ate and drank as normal. I am thinking a dry Jan is the way forward even if it isn't a BFP this month. My body needs a break!
Bubbles, I know what you mean- it's annoying to think that I'm wishing away my holiday!
Pickled- not sure id have your restraint not to test tomorrow!

Looking at the stats of others I guess it's naive to think it will happen on the first cycle but here's hoping!

The tww definitely drives me crazy! This one seems to be dragging on forever!!! I have been pregnant before just over a year ago but was sadly ectopic but at least I know it should happen eventually!!! Have been eating and drinking as normal this Christmas although I have been staying off the booze most other months... Good luck everyone! X

Does anyone else find ovia really glitchy? Mines been telling me it's my most fertile day for the past week!

Report
Namethattune · 29/12/2015 20:07

Twinkle it can happen. I fell pregnant with dd first month trying, and we weren't even trying that hard! We just decided to stop using contraception and see what happened. If we hadn't got a bfp after 3 months then we were going to start actively "trying", but it happened immediately. Mind you we were newly weds back then, so we dtd much more often then we do now!

Feeling a bit blue today....had a positive opk on Sunday. Did bd sun/mon. Thought that was it but definitely ovulated yesterday arvo a little later than I expected on cd 17 (feel distinct twinge when I ovulated so almost certain). But was DH first day back at work yesterday after xmas hols and he was out like a light at bedtime. No bd Sad now wondering if we have given it out best shot this month or potentially missed the boat. Which just adds to my frustration during this 2ww. Feeling fed up. And hate being such a crazy woman about it!!

Hi all. I'm 3dpo. Ov'd late on cd26 (although this is earlier than previous months-crazy post pill cycles). Thought I'd already OVd earlier in cycle so let up on dtd so only managed once really in fertile window so not holding out much hope (although it does only take one little swimmer). Good luck everyone. Fingers crossed the 2ww flies by!
Age:27

Cycle 3 (although stopped pill nearly 6 months ago. Cycles so far 98 days, 48, hopefully 40 this time based on OV date or Bfp!)
ETD 5-7th jab.

I totally also check Ovia a million times a day - as if that is going to make a difference. Also googling 'how early do pregnancy symptoms appear'. Clearly NOT 3 days DPO!

Is anyone testing today/tomorrow? I'm not due to test until the 8th.

I'm lurking at the mo but I will join you ladies too, if you've got the room?

But just popping on quickly to reassure Lucinda. So you b/d on Sunday and Monday but ov'd Tuesday? There's still every chance you caught the egg. Sperm can survive up to 5 days. Also when I got pregnant with DS, we had sex just once that whole month I conceived as we had both been poorly. We bd on the Saturday and I ov'd on the Monday and got pregnant - so try not to feel too blue! Smile

Thanks celen! That does reassure me. I guess I knew there could still be a good chance but I am feeling a bit manic! Just want to do everything I can and give it my best shot. Beginning to feel I'm getting nowhere. But went for a lovely walk today along the beach with my boy and feeling brighter Smile blew the cobwebs and the worries away!

I'm sorry to hear of your losses. My mc's have left me feeling Desperate to be pregnant again but also petrified at the thought. Hoping for a smooth ride next time!

Good luck everyone xx
