Anyone want to get healthy with me before we TTC?

We would like to have baby no3. However I'm a few stones overweight, I'm smoking and I'm generally not as healthy as I want to be.

My plan is to make my body a temple for this new baby. So, loosing weight, stopping smoking, making healthier choices and getting my body ready for a home birth I always wish I was able to have with my previous babies.

Does anyone else need to get healthy before they TTC?

Yes! Hoping for no.3 sometime next year. Desperate to lose weight first though. Lost nearly 3 stone in the run up to our wedding but most (if not all!) has gone back on :-(

In regards to the smoking, have you tried an ecig? They are what got us off them! And have you tried low carbing? I started last week and have dabbled in the past and find it really good. After the initial few days you really start to feel better, more energy, mind not so fuzzy and the hunger pangs dwindle.

2016 is my year to get back to the fit and healthy old me, I have been married for 3 years and the love of a good man and his cooking has expanded my waistline massively! I know I can do it because I lost 3 stone before our wedding with weightwatchers.

I'm looking to come off the pill later this year to try for our 1st baby but want to make sure my body is in the best possible condition to carry our little one.

Bring on the fitness & fresh diet! Good luck xx

Hello all I'd love to join this chat. I too need to lose some weight and get fit and hoping to ttc no 3. My weight has piled on and any exercise I did do doesn't exist! And so I'm looking to take control!!!! Starting by reducing my sugar intake, drinking a lot more water, less caffeine, more greens..... oh and moving my a$$ more 😎 Good luck ladies!!

Hi there, would like to join you!
We are hoping to start TTC in early March after shifting some weight and just being healthier generally.
I'm planning to do the 'I quit sugar' detox and actually start to regularly use my gym membership! Started taking a conception multi vitamin today too.

I also need to do this. I'm nicotine replacement (the mouth spray) have been for 5 years blush.

I'm also underweight, so I need to sort that out because I know it can reduce fertility. Send your cakes over to me!
