Positive test but had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago?

I'm Afraid to get my hopes up...

I've had 2 normal pregnancies followed by 3 miscarriages

The first two miscarriages were missed miscarriages at 12 weeks.

The last miscarriage on 17 October was at 8 weeks (but measuring for 5 weeks)

I think I did a pregnancy test a few days after the last miscarriage and it was negative - but I can't fully remember as I've done so many ovulation and pregnancy tests over the last few months

I have been TTC since the last miscarriage - I didn't bother waiting for my period

I did an ovulation test last Friday and it was positive

I had sore breasts over the weekend which I never really have

Today I did a pregnancy test and it was positive

I read that if you're pregnant you will get a positive ovulation test as the hormones are quite similar

I'm hoping I'm pregnant but trying not to get my hopes up

If you've had a negative test since the m/c then yes there is a chance this is a positive on a new pregnancy.
