Negative OPK - is there still hope?!

Hi ladies

Still new to this TTC stuff so apologies for the daft questions.

If you are pregnant then would your OPK definitely show up as positive? So if you had a positive OPK around CD14, which then went to negative around CD21, does that mean you definitely haven't conceived (ie would OPK be positive for the rest of the month if you had conceived) or is there still hope?

TIA Flowers

Sometimes people get positive OPKs when they're pregnant but not always, this would still only show up around the time a pregnancy test would show up. If you had a positive OPK on day 14 and ovulated, then 7 days later is too soon to get a positive test anyway.
So in short, no OPKs don't keep giving positives whether you're pregnant or not. It's too soon to tell, there's still hope, step away from the OPKs. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply... That was what I was hoping!

I could cope with definitely not being PG if AF appeared as at least then I could be positively starting another cycle - but knowing I'm not PG before AF is due would be rather more soul destroying lol.

FX for a BFP then Wink
