Feeling fed up ttc#2. Our DS now 3 was a happy accident so not been through this before and finding it so frustrating. Only 3rd month of trying but worried left it too late. I'm 39 and been trying to convince DH to try for another for last year and now every time period shows end up resenting him in case we have missed the boat! Sorry for the rant just feel really down. Everyone round me is either pregnant or has a newborn. I love my DS to bits but breaks my heart to think of him to growing up without brother or sister

It is hard ttc specially for the first time deliberately trying but don't lose heart, you have every chance and it may take a little while but you are not too old. Please don't beat yourself or your dh up about it, just eat well, sleep well, look after yourself and don't worry about your age. Good luck

Hi, sorry you are frustrated. Encouraged by conceiving first so easily. Though I think a few more months is quite normal length but understand the desire to have a Bfp asp.

I am 39 ttc2 ( well 3 as 2nd baby was sadly a stillbirth) and quickest I have conceived is 22 cycles. On cycle 3 also.

Let's hope cycle 3/4 is our lucky ones!

I'm ttc #2 at almost 38. It's taken two years for diagnosis and treatment of fertility issue ( short LP and low progesterone ) basically although I've been trying for nearly 2 years it was never going to happen. So now it's like starting from scratch so who knows how long it could take. It's totally shit isn't it? My dad is almost 3. and all her little friends have siblings and I'm heartbroken that she doesn't have one. I'm 3dpo and time is going so slowly. Fingers crossed for us all.

Good luck to everyone! The tww is a killer isn't it one moment convincing yourself you're definately pregnant this month and you're definately out. Sounds like we're all going through similar things which helps. MrsBadger77 hoping now you have got to route of problem you'll get that BPF soon. AF arrived for me this morning. Bang on time to the hour????. What was your LP if you don't mind me asking mine is 12 days so hopefully not too short.

Sorry to hear that OP. My LP was only about 9 days. I'm sure 12 days is fine, so please don't worry about that. Onwards and upwards to the next cycle.

Just wanted to offer some hope. I started Ttc and became completely sick and disillusioned with it as I established I had a 8-9 day luteal phase and felt like it was never going to happen. I had seen a consultant and was due for a hycosy to check tubes before clomid. And then came an unexpected BFP- I'm 7 weeks now and it's very early days but just wanted to say don't lose hope even with short Luteal phase. Best of luck all x
