Ok, not only am I new to Mumsnet, I'm new to TTC as well! :-)

I've just come off the pill (POP), have started my vitamins and am starting to chart/log using Ovia...apart from waiting for my body to get back to a normal cycle, is there anything else I should be doing?

Hi mermaid :) I'm relatively new too!

We took a little bit of a break from ttc after finding out I had pcos, but we've decided to get back into the swing of it this week. I'm trying not to show my husband just how baby crazy I've gone though! Calm thoughts!

Just relax and have patience and hopefully your future little one will be here before you know it.

How are you getting on with ovia? I keep forgetting to log into mine!

Ovia is OK - it's not happy with me cos i haven't logged a period yet (cos I haven't had one after finishing the pill) but I'm weighing daily, putting in mood, symptoms, cervical fluid etc

Not sure whether i really need to put in temperature though!

I'm only using it because I had a couple of friends who used it with a lot of success...

I actually want a period now, just to log the damn thing!!

Depending on how 'involved' in ttc you want to get.......do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy of 'taking charge of your fertility' and a bbt thermometer and start charting.

I see so many people on here who have just come off the pill and months later they still haven't figured out what their body is doing. Temp and fertility charting could potentially save a lot of confusion and anxiety long term! It could take a while for your body to settle so give yourself the best chance by familiarising yourself with what signs to look out for. Good luck!

Oops missed your last post......yes, start tracking your temps now, you'll regret it later if you don't!
