Anyone around 3dpo and settling in for the 2ww?

LaraNotCroft22 · 12/06/2015 19:17

I've just hit the 2ww (according to FF chart) having missed last month as I didn't ovulate in a stupidly long cycle of uselessness!

Super happy to have simply ovulated, but trying to remember that's just a small part of the battle in getting upduffed.

Anyone else at the beginning of their wait and want to hand-hold compare symptoms?

Me! I'm two dpo and will wait with you. Not holding out a huge amount of hope though as it's the first month trying and we only dtd twice. Still secretly hoping though Wink

Hi super worm! Fingers crossed for you.

Ff thinks I ovulated on day 16 but I think it was day 17 as still had positive opks that day so currently 3dpo.

This is my third month, but didn't ovulate last cycle (40-odd days long) so kinda second go. Managed to DTD the two days before, day of ov and morning after so keeping fingers crossed!!

I hope we get our bfps

I'm pretty sure I'm either 2 or 3 dpo today too, although no cross hairs yet and I'm not sure if I'll get any because I was on nights on cd 14-16 which totally screws my temping so my chart isn't accurate. I had a dip on day 17 though, followed by a slow rise over the last 3 days, and positive OPKs on both the cd16 and cd17 so fingers crossed I've actually ovulated! This is our 4th month ttc and we tried sperm meets egg plan for the first time.

I hope we all get our bfps this month Grin

Good luck. Six days pre-ovulation here, wishing you BFPs.

Hi Purple, Goodbye and Welsh!

Purple - that sounds really promising! Are you using fertility friend, maybe add a fake temp for tomorrow and see if it adds crosshairs?

What's the sperm meets egg plan? Not heard of that one!

Now 4dpo - had a temp spike today to a whole degree above my coverline - anyone had anything similar before?

FF now thinks I'm 5dpo - but I'm convinced because of opk's that it's a day out!

Good luck all :-)

Welsh are you sure we're not actually the same person? I'm even from Wales, assuming you are too Grin!

Lara here's a link to the sperm meets egg plan website:
spermmeetseggplan.com/

I do use fertility friend and got cross hairs today following a temp of 36.66, up from 36.42 yesterday. However my cross hairs are at cd19 when I'm pretty sure I would have ovulated cd17, if I ovulated at all! I don't even know whether to trust that temp today because 8 hours later I had to come home from work early with a high temp of 37.6 due to a throat infection of some kind!

Looking at the smep makes me realise we did not have anywhere near enough sex! Must put more effort in next time Smile

I expect to ovulate on Thursday/Friday, so we'll be having lots of sex this week. Ahem. Smile

Go for it! We kind of did something similar to the smep when we conceived DS and got pregnant first go.

Spooky purple! I am indeed from Wales but live in Germany now. Hope you are feeling better today.

I've not been temping just using the clearblue fertility monitor. In not convinced it's that accurate though so have been thinking about temping too.

Anyone feeling anything or noticing any different signs? Everything is totally normal with me! But i guess it's probably way too early really...I'm sooo impatient this month!

Why do you not think clearblue is accurate? (curious)

Goodbye the first month it had OV on CD14 & 15 but going by discharge and pains I think it was three or four days later. Then the next month it had OV on CD 10/11 which was definitely too early. I think this month might have been most accurate actually going by other signs of OV but I guess only time will tell! I wonder it needs a few months to figure out your cycles? I've had a different cycle length each month ranging between 27-32 days!

Hi all!
Yesterday I had a +opk so today I had a temp dip hope for a spike tomorrow. However I am worried as last month I ov on cd16 and had 10 days lp. Yesterday was cd17 and not sure what happened to my cycle. Before my 2 mc I used to ov on day 8. I am worried about too short lp.

Welsh tbh temping is just another thing to obsess over, I guess you kind of feel like you're doing something in an otherwise fairly uncontrollable situation though. If you're periods are slightly irregular it's also useful for helping you to figure out when your period is coming.

I use internet cheapie OPKs and sometimes that pesky line is so similar to the control that it's hard to decide whether it's positive or not. I guess it's nice and easy on the monitor with the smiley faces. However not so easy if you think the monitor is getting it wrong!

I feel inpatient every month, but I think once you hit the ttc for 4 months mark, even though you know all the statistics, you start thinking that the whole getting pregnant thing might not be as easy as you previously thought/feared.

Raluca really sorry to hear about your MC. Hopefully your cycles are just in the process of sorting themselves out, but if you are worried perhaps you could visit your Dr and ask them to check your progesterone levels?

Sorry to hear about your MC raluca. I think purple's suggestion of visiting the GP is good. There are things you can do to help lengthen you lp, I can't remember which supplements it involves but sure there will be some info on here or have a Google.

We have a 3 year old DD who was conceived first cycle and as much as I knew that wasn't likely to happen again I'm still terribly impatient! I'm also no spring chicken so do worry that my age will make it more difficult too...but we shall just carry on and see what happens.

When are we all due to POAS? I need to hold out til Sunday really but will see if I manage that!

Sorry to hear about your MC Raluca. I second what the others say about a Gp visit. I certainly can't do any harm.

7dpo here though FF keeps changing my ov day back and forth! Scared to poas at a point where a neg might mean something if that makes sense?!

I've just tweaked my temps from when I was on nights to below coverline and FF now reckons I ov'd on cd18, which puts me at 6dpo today. I'm off to a wedding at the weekend which I expect will be rife with bubbly temptation! I'll only be 10 or 11dpo though so a little early to be POAS. My friends will be expecting me to drink so I don't know whether to just drive and offer myself as a taxi service, or whether to run an elaborate charade with OH involving drink switching and illusion Smile.

I would just drink purple Blush but in moderation. We are having a BBQ party this weekend and I have the same issue. I've decided I'll have a glass of bubbles and just sip...you'll have to mingle lots so people don't notice Grin

Hi all! Thanks for your encouragement! I'll go to the gp after next af. If it was just for a month she would probably say is ok, but if I can show her 2 months of charting s she may consider blood tests easier. I'm due on 24th so not long now. Had a temp spike today so that puts ov on day 18 and that again is borderline. Nearly 37 here so just hope I didn't wait too much for dc2

Superworm · 16/06/2015 19:14

Sorry about your mc. I have a short LP and tend to ovulate on day 15/16 of a 24 day cycle. I think it's quite common and wasn't a problem when conceiving DS. Would be worth discussing with the GP for reassurance if your worried.

AF due in four days. Not feeling remotely different and had no symptoms at all. Won't poas but just wait for AF to arrive I think.
