My fiancée and I are worried and finding conflicting advice on the net and looking for a definitive answer, we hope someone on here may be able to help! Sorry if this is in the wrong section we weren't sure where to put it :(

Yesterday during sex, the condom split as I ejaculated. We are not in a position yet to have a child so she took the morning after pill. 12 hours later, during sex... Second condom from the same packet split :(

Will the fact she took the morning after pill only 12 hours ago mean that she cannot get pregnant with the second condom failure, or does she need to take another? Is it safe to take two doses so close together?!

Hi

Do not take multiple morning after pills please! They are very strong and can cause damage if used improperly.

Best thing you can do is call an NHS advice line which is totally confidential and ask for advice.

Please don't panic though. As you can see from these boards there are many people struggling with conception so it is not always a one slip and your up the duff situation.

The NHS nurse on the phone will be able to advise you accurately on what you should do next.

Hope that helps!

She'll be fine. The morning after pill she took will cover it.

I second oysterbabe, the morning after pill she took will cover it. But I'd look into other methods of contraception too like the pill or injection as condoms don't seem to be doing the job for you both.
