Just feeling sad and full of self pity atm.
DP and I had been ttc our first child. I have long cycles anyway (34 days) but my last period started on 18th March and I've now missed two periods. Technically I'm now on CD71, and have been getting BFNs since about CD30.
I got a positive OPK and EWCM on CD51 and was so happy to be ovulating. TWW came and went and here I am, with no period and more BFNs.
I have a doctors appointment booked for 8th June. What are they going to say is wrong with me? Feeling so despondent.

TTC can be a tricky journey. Just want to let you know you are not alone. My cycles are messed up and all over the place too and we are also TTC #1.

Were you on birth control previously? How long were you having the 34 day cycles before this cycle?

I came off the pill last July and had regular cycles until March. How about you? Flowers

Perhaps you have PCOS. This causes long cycles. This can be confirmed by bloods and an ultrasound. I had long cycles too and have mild PCOS so was put on metformin which helped to regularise the cycles. I also went to a fertility clinic for the cycles and ovulation to be controlled with drugs. It's called TMI. I do have a history of recurrent miscarriage so mostly for that reason. Anyway It was successful and I have 3 little girls so don't give up hope.

Blue I came off the pill in august. Periods didn't come back, went to the doctors who confirmed pcos by blood tests and an ultrasound. Have had one period now, last month, currently waiting it out to see if I get a bfp or af this month. Either would be good! I have an appointment with the gynaecologist lined up for next month.

Hopefully you won't need all that but may be worth getting docs to do a blood test as the first step to confirming or rejecting the idea that it could be pcos.

Thank you ain and graceymac. I know being so stressed and moody won't help anything, but yesterday instead of my usual clear BFN I got an evap. Felt so frustrated and couldn't control my disappointment any more! Going away for a couple of days now which should help me forget and relax.
I'll let you know what the doctor says after my appointment.
