Are you sick to the tits of baby-making sex? Or are you squelching with rabid lust when the lickle hand strikes cock o' clock? Have you already picked Sophia and Hugo as your baby names? Do you want to gouge out the smug eyes of the pregnant women in Sainsbo's? Do you shove balloons up your Boden sweater and pretend you have baby in your tum-tum? Have you already picked out your Farrow & Ball nursery paint? GREAT! Then you're just like us: We are the friendliest, wittiest, gayest, animal-lovingest, cervical-hunting women you will ever meet.

Come on, you frightened little trying-to-conceive mice...come join the fun on the Bumsnet bus. You know you wanna smile

Oh hiya newb! <waves enthusiastically> Have a popsicle or a piece of seal blubber. (seal died from natural causes).

Riceicle1 Thu 14-May-15 22:52:47

Hi everyone, sorry I have been AWOL sad dad is still in hospital! we have found out he has myeloma which is cancer of the blood sad but I don't want to put you all on a downer! I just popped in to say hello <waves> I don't know what will happen with my ttc plans now. I need to be around to help my mom care for my dad, but at my age delaying would almost certainly mean forsaking my baby plans. Either way no bd'ing is occurring due to severe stress and looonnnggg days at the hospital.
Sorry I can't catch up, but i hope you are all well.

DaisyDuckSW15 Fri 15-May-15 06:30:49

rice, so so sorry about your dad. Battling cancer is draining for the whole family. Make sure you're looking after yourself as well. Make sure your friends look after you. xxxx

I've been off the bus for a couple of weeks. Found myself getting too obsessed with TTC. I'm back now though. Just got a BFN. I haven't tested before, just waited for my period to start, but I didn't want to prolong the wait this month. I'd rather just know. Time to stop imagining a January birth and start imagining a February one. Those of you who've been doing this longer, do you ever stop imagining month of birth etc etc?!

MelonMelon Fri 15-May-15 06:34:29

Morning! 2 days late. No AF and BFN confused

sammylou1 Fri 15-May-15 07:04:43

Daisy for ages my answer to that would have been no. I imagined month after month... I think it's normal. I don't do it anymore because I know better than to get my hopes up! Xx

Beansprout30 Fri 15-May-15 07:25:00

Temp drop and bfn for me, knew it, ffs

MelonMelon Fri 15-May-15 07:42:31
