I'm new and just need a bit of a moan. I've just found out a close relative is pregnant and although I'm happy for them it's just such a harsh reminder that after 18 months of trying I'm not. I've not had a single positive test in that time and we have been referred to the fertility clinic by my doctor. Our first appointment is in a couple of weeks, we've not had any tests yet so no idea if there is a problem or if we've just been unlucky.

I'm currently on day 34 of my cycle (which can be anywhere between 23 and 39 days). I'm convinced that AF will have arrived every time I go to the loo but at the same time I'm too scared (and don't want to waste my money) to do a test!

I don't really know what I want anyone to say but thank you for reading.

Hi custard, im currently 10dpo and on cycle 11 so not quite as long as you but I'm getting to the point where I just cant see it happening naturally for us. It's so hard when everyone around seems to be pregnant. Ive arranged to see a friend next week who's pregnant with no 2 and only starting trying in january, not really looking forward to our catch up as horrible as that soundsI just feel so jealous

Hi Beansprout, I know how you feel. I am happy for them but it's very hard to smile and talk babies.
