Phantom baby kicks...?

I feel pregnant, morning sickness, bloated in the evenings, v emotional etc but I'm (pretty) sure I'm not pregnant as I'm on the pill, I've been bleeding (although that's been all over the place since I went on the new pill/am breastfeeding) and I got a bfn last night.
Yet I'm sitting here with what I would swear is a baby kick!!! Have I lost my marbles? With DS I didn't feel kicks until 16weeks - surely 16weeks preggo would have showed when I poas? What could it be...muscle spasm? Weird period pain?
Resisting turning to DrGoogle...

Is this the first test you've done since you've felt like this?
It is weird but I suppose anything is possible, although I should if you are far enough to feel a kick then you would have a tummy.
I'm sure a flutter in the tummy can be explained as something else and maybe the new pill is causing the other symptoms?

Thing is I haven't completely lost my tummy from DS ( 10months). Yesterday was the only test I'd taken. Grin

How old is DS? I had phantom kicks for a very long time ago birth. Possibly up to a year.
I suspect other symptoms are the new pill.
Sorry it's really difficult call as you are obviously on the pill.
I suppose if you really feel pregnant then only a trip to the docs will put your mind at rest?

I had phantom kicks for years. Wasn't pregnant. I wondered if they were uterine muscle spasms. Your uterus does contact and dilate at various times through your menstrual cycle.

Thanks fate. This must be it - DS is only 10months so kicks are well within memory!
