Hi there. I have 2dc, youngest is 18mo and still breastfeeding. My dh and I use withdrawl method for contraception. We acknowledge this is not the safest method and if another baby was conceived it would be much loved...I will say however this method has worked for us for 9 years and our 2dc were planned.
My period was due on Sunday. I thought it started last night (browny red disharge) and presumed I would wake up to full flow today but nothing at all just creamy cm.
I have done a test today and bfn. I am approx 11dpo...
Could I be? The other explanation is that my toddler does still bf at night and wonder if that could have delayed this period but he has always fed in the night and I've had my cycle back for 6 months now. ...

It is a possibility but the only real answer is to poas when AF is due which I imagine is not long away now? Or get a frer

Hi

It may be too early to detect a pregnacy as you should normally start your period 14 days after ovulation, so cd11 may still be too soon.
Try in a couple of days if you haven't come on with a frer xx

I have a short luteal phase usually approx 11 days. Always been the same and not affected concieving my other dc. I guess though just because my period is due doesn't mean a hpt will necessarily show? Argh

Sorry missed the bit about period due. Might just be taking a little longer in full flow. Unless you were late ovulating and this could just be ovulation bleed/implantation bleed? Do you know if/when you ovulated this cycle?
