Just had period but could I still be pregnant?

Hi there, new to this forum but I have a quick question.

I've been trying to get pregnant now for a few months and so far unsuccessful.

So I had a period on 09/12/14 and ovulated somewhere around 17/12/14 to 22/12/14, so we tried a few times during that week.

I was then due my period on 05/01/15 which came, but a little lighter than usual, little cramping and around 3 days (3 days is normal for me). Leading up to my period I'm very hormonal and get terrible mood swings, crave chocolate, all the usual butt his time it wasn't as bad. However since then I've been having terrible headaches, been awfully tired (my partner usually sending me to bed around 8pm) been unusually emotional, and cranky, and I just feel bloated and fat. This behaviour is so unlike me right after my period, I'm just wondering is there still a small chance I could still be pregnant?

Hi Sarah If your period was a lot lighter than normal then it could have been implantation. I'm not trying to get your hopes up but it might be worth you taking a test. When I was pregnant I had spotting which I assumed was the start of my period only I didn't get the heavy bleed I usually got & it turned out I was pregnant.

I had some light cramping and needed to use tampons, I hear implantation bleeding is much lighter so I kind of ruled that out. It's the hormonal mood swings I'm experiencing seem to be confusing me, although it could be the stress of it all too I suppose. I'm hoping to take a test this week, although I think I already know the result.

I should add that I have no children so I have no experience of being pregnant, I assumed I would have some other symptoms by now, but I've had no sickness etc

I was wondering about this hopefully! My last period was the 16/12/14 and yesterday i started bleeding. Just seems to early? I dont know much about ttc as last pregnancy wasn't planned. I think mines more than spotting though just like the begininng of a period. Have felt different but think that was just hopefulness
