I'm now well into being 5 days late I've taken 3 tests and all have come bk negative (a clear blue digital one and 2 boots ones) since its been nearly 13 yrs since my first child I can't rember how I felt. I feel odd in my self, I'm tired very grumpy well mood swings really. keep needing a wee but think a lot of that is in my head as I keep checking to see if it's arrived lol. Not sure what I should do? Don't want to get my hopes up as me and my partner have been trying for 6 yrs with no luck but I've never been this late before.

The most likely scenario is that you just ovulated later than usual this month, I think it's very rare to not get a BFP nearly a week after your period was due if you are pregnant (though not unheard of). You'll just have to wait it out for now I'm afraid, and test again in a week or so if still no AF. GP probably wouldn't do anything like blood test until you're at least a couple of weeks late. I'm 5 days late with 2 negative tests. I'm thinking I've ovulated late too some mild twinging and cramps today but no AF xxx

I'm 4 days late and BFNs too. I'm thinking maybe I didn't ovulate at all last month. I was very stressed with lots going on.
I suspect I'll skip a period and then go back to normal. Hate the unpredictability of it all though. Been ttc for 2 1/2 years.

I'm 7 days late and 3 BFNs (tested at 2, 4 and 5 days late). I have some symptoms - cramping for the last week which eased off by day 5, boobs feel heavy and have occasional shooting pains, increased CM for about 7 days. Feel very confused - was sure I must be so was so disappointed to get BFNs. Going to wait another week and test again if no AF but the waiting is tough :(

threepiecesuite we are the exact same trying 21/2 years. My symptoms are lots of cm some twinges. Some pains in boobs but not much constipated but no AF at all

I've had cramps for 2 days too partner said my boobs look bigger over the last few days. I have a feeling I'm just going to end up missing one too but not sure y it's happened as nothing has changed. Will test again in a wk (if I can wait that long) if still nothing. All the not knowing is very stressful on us all, Fingers crossed for us all lady's .

I've got AF now but very light. I just think stress scared her away. Oh well.

I'm now 6 days and another BFN this morning from the first wee of the day so I think it's going to b a no. Still no sign of AF tho so will continue the waiting game.

Now 9 days late and cramping again yesterday and today. Haven't tested since day 5. Going to try and wait it out and test again on Saturday when I will be 2wks late.

I'm now 7 Hun and not going to test again until I'm 2 wks but going to b hard not to test tho as I just want to know. Like u still got cramps and yesterday had tender boobs but today I just have a banging head. Good luck with ur retest

Thank you Gemgem02 x same to you. It's so frustrating, really doing my head in! I really "feel" pregnant, feel like I did in the early stages with dd - sore boobs, back, cramps, increased appetite, a lot of cm (in fact, keep thinking it must be AF starting but when I go to the loo it's not). I'm trying to not get my hopes up but at the same time, my best friend had two negatives when pregnant with her dd and the home tests didn't pick it up until she was about 8wks! So I know it can happen. Hope it does for you too x

Wow 8wks! I can't rember how I felt with my first as it was 13yrs ago. I just feel odd. My OH thinks I am as he says I'm different some how lol but like u I don't want to get my hopes up.

I cracked and tested again today - 10 days late, no af and still a BFN :( not sure what is going on.

Really hope it happens for you soon x

I'm now 9 days late and still BFN so think I'm out this month but I'm getting quite a lot of pain and cramps so my gp wants me to go to a&e as she suspects ovarian cyst or early onset appendicitis so its a&e in the morning for me as I could be bothered tonight. cinnamon girl here's hoping u get a bfp xxx

I've just done a thread and going through exactly the same but I've took 6 tests clear blue and first response. I thought I was just me but obv not. I have no children but it's my second time pregnant. I do feel as though I am but I don't want it to be all in my head cuz I'm so desperate for a positive.

I was 21 days late in the summer, for no reason at all other than my body like to play tricks on me. Sometimes they just miss a period for no reason!

It's hard isn't it SPBennet123 - I've made an appointment with my gp by which time I will be 3 weeks late if AF hasn't shown - if I don't have a BFP by then, hopefully I'll get some answers from my doctor.

I did one yesterday and still negative .. I'm really sorry what does af and bfp mean lol sorry... I feel for you still waiting after 3 weeks I hope your result is what you want chicky xx

af means aunt flo (your period) and bfp means big fat positive, hope that helps! It took me a while to crack the code too :)

Hope you both get some luck, I have the results of my GPs pregnancy test to look forward to tomorrow but I'm not hopeful. I've ordered 30 internet cheapy pregnancy tests and I'm braced for the long haul. It's going to be tough though, it's really stressful this ttc, I feel for the people who've been trying for ages, I had one month without success and I was miserable...
