Hi, If i haven't got lucky in January i am thinking of trying SMEP in February, also using a clear blue fertility monitor to see when i am due to ovulate,

Hey Rainy34! Good luck and hope you get a BFP this month!
I ordered some clear blue fertility monitors today, eeeek.
Am going to start using them next week after AF has stopped so I can properly track my cycle before going for it next month for real! X

Good luck to you, they are so good, i have used the sticks with the smiley face in the past as i was unsure of when i was about to ovulate and when you get a smiley face it is so exciting, lol are you getting the new monitor?

Haha I can't wait for a smiley face,wooo!
No not getting a monitor??? I have just ordered the digital ovulation sticks, do I need something else?!
Have you been tracking your cycle? I came off the pill almost a year ago because I wanted it to be out of my system for when we start trying lol. I am realising how much of a control freak I am haha!

The digital ovulation sticks are what i first used and are good, I'm only using the fertility monitor as it was given to me,

i use Ovia app to track my cycle which can be all over the place, i came off the pill this time last year but did not start trying till last june, but the pill as really messed up my body and only think its now that its getting back to normal. i am now a control freak too, think ttc turns you into one

Oh i see! Those monitor things are quite pricey aren't they?!

I was using 'My Days' but now use 'Glow'. Have also started both of us on vitamins in preparation :)

Yeah I think the pill can take a while from what other people have said. My cycle was a bit erratic after I stopped it and I was only on it for a few months. I had a mirena coil before that but it gave me horrible PMS! Glad to hear your cycles are getting back to normal :))

I'm so broody I can't stop thinking about it!!! Need distraction arghhh

lol, i collect them, some of them don't give the same days of when I'm fertile so that as why i went with the ovulations sticks

Keyhawk · 09/01/2015 21:40

Yeah where my cycle vary between 28-30 the ovulation dates aren't always spot on, that's why I wanted to start with the sticks so I can pin point the exact days!

yes, one month i gave up after day 14 as i kept getting a circle and no smiley faces and i usually get them cd 12 or 13, i woke up one morning and tested on cd 17 and i got a smiley then, so don't give up hope if you don't get a smiley when you think you should, just keep going until you do
